"Clear, reliable, and effective security solution"
What do you like best about DataDome?

DataDome gives us peace of mind, and we appreciate having an ad hoc Security Operations Center team ready to support 24/7. It’s very easy to use, low-touch once implemented, and it delivers on what it promises. We’ve found the reporting and protection much clearer and more effective than our previous bot protection solution. Most importantly, it hit our target false positive rate, which was a big success factor for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

The only drawback was the implementation process, which took longer than expected due to our websites being PWAs / using service workers. Once set up, however, the day-to-day operation has been smooth and requires very little ongoing effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great antibot protection"
What do you like best about DataDome?

DataDome has proven to be a reliable, innovation-oriented partner. One of its major strengths is the responsiveness and expertise of its support team. Whether for day-to-day questions or more strategic discussions, the team is always available and provides precise, actionable answers—a real asset in a demanding digital environment.

Another differentiator is the regularity of updates and the transparency of their roadmap. DataDome frequently delivers enhancements to its platform and shares a detailed annual roadmap, offering solid visibility into upcoming developments and making our own planning easier.

Finally, the user interface is both intuitive and highly customizable. It strikes an excellent balance between ease of use and rich functionality, enabling quick onboarding while meeting the specific needs of advanced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

The requirement to install a module at the Load Balancer level can complicate deployment in certain architectures. A more flexible approach here could ease adoption in varied technical contexts.

Additionally, the log retention period cannot be modified. The ability to customize this retention would be a real plus for meeting compliance or operational requirements specific to each organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust and automated protection against illegitimate traffic"
What do you like best about DataDome?

The integration of DataDome was done quickly, with very professional support from the technical teams. From the POC phase, we were able to measure the system's effectiveness in detecting and blocking suspicious behavior without impacting the user experience. The solution integrates seamlessly into our stack and the interface allows for detailed traffic analysis, which is very useful for our technical teams. The dashboard is intuitive and the reports are clear: we can immediately see the impact of the solution in terms of threat detection and blocking. Another strong point is the ability to easily manage exception rules, such as whitelisting IPs for certain technical partners or third-party services, which is essential in our context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

It has happened to us that the solution triggers captchas for legitimate users, especially during traffic spikes or behaviors mistakenly considered suspicious. However, the DataDome teams have always been responsive in analyzing these cases and adjusting the rules accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Datadome, the AI-Powered Bot and Fraud Protection Platform"
What do you like best about DataDome?

DataDome's core strength lies in its highly accurate and autonomous bot detection. The platform is widely praised by users for its "set it and forget it" nature, as it requires minimal human intervention on a daily basis. It automatically adapts to new threats and attack vectors, freeing up security teams to focus on other high-value tasks.

Another major positive is the platform's ease of integration. DataDome offers flexible integration paths and can be quickly deployed across various tech stacks.

The user interface and dashboard provide a clear, detailed, and intuitive view of traffic and threats, allowing security teams to analyze attacks, debug issues, and create custom rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

One of the most significant points of contention is the price. The platform is considered a premium, and at times, very expensive solution, with pricing starting in the thousands of dollars per month. This can be a major barrier for smaller businesses or those with limited security budgets.

Also one major issue is the occasional false positive, where legitimate users are mistakenly blocked, especially during traffic spikes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Scalable, and Effective Bot Protection"
What do you like best about DataDome?

We recently integrated DataDome as our primary bot protection solution for our web and mobile platforms, and the results have been impressive. DataDome stands out for its real-time detection and blocking of malicious bots, leveraging advanced techniques like device fingerprinting, behavioral analysis, and machine learning. This has allowed us to significantly reduce fraudulent activities, scraping attempts, and account takeover risks without disrupting the experience for legitimate users.

The support from the DataDome team has been invaluable, especially in facing fast-pacing attacks, setting up new security scenarios, and analyzing threat data to stay ahead of emerging risks.

Key benefits include high accuracy, flexible customization, and strong scalability. Integration was smooth with our infrastructure, and we’ve even seen performance gains thanks to reduced server load. Highly recommended for robust, hassle-free bot protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

Nothing major so far. The initial configuration requires careful tuning to avoid blocking edge-case legitimate traffic, but the support team was responsive and helped us fine-tune the rules quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced bot protection with a focus on performance and scalability"
What do you like best about DataDome?

The most useful aspect of DataDome is its ability to detect and mitigate bot attacks in real-time without affecting the experience of legitimate users. Its main advantage lies in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, which allows it to quickly adapt to new threats. Additionally, it offers easy integrations with multiple platforms (CDN, WAF, APIs, mobile applications) and a very intuitive dashboard to monitor suspicious traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

The least useful aspect is that, in some cases, it can generate false positives that block legitimate users, which requires fine-tuning in the configuration. Another disadvantage is that its cost can be high for startups or small companies, as it is mainly aimed at organizations with a large volume of traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Benefitting from cleaner analysis and a reduced server load"
What do you like best about DataDome?

Setting-up DataDome on our servers was quick and efficient: a simple piece of code to copy on our servers. The DashBoard is also useful. It took us a bit of time to get used to the information displayed and how to play with it, but once done, it's easy. Most of all, this dashboard allows us to be independent for white- or blacklistings bots in complete autonomy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataDome?

Nothing special, this solution fits our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
