I like the quality of the transcripts in Spanish and that I can share it with the students. There are also many editing options to improve it. Being able to export it is also a very good point.

I'm a professional editor and a creator on YouTube for years, well versed in a myriad of different editing software, but there is nothing on the market today as fast and intuitive as Descript. it is unclear and inconsistent what can be fixed without uploading additional content. For example, I have been able to heal a misspoken word quickly for a short video when it is the first time I am adding that speaker and then for another file it wanted me to add a lot more to get context for just one word. Without ANY knowledge whatsoever in editing; I was able to intuitively figure out how to use this software for capturing a longer clip from a YouTube Video. Descript is an excellent tool and my favorite for video editing. It saves time by allowing precise edits, and the AI feature that removes filler words and silence gaps is fantastic. Additionally, the ability to eliminate retakes is an amazing enhancement. I truly love it!

The Underlord AI that helps remove filler words like "uh" and "like" almost instantly is very helpful in editing, and it's super easy to use. The caption tools are great, and they can even reasonably translate from other languages. We use it every week to help us create content from longer form recordings. Sometimes the AI editor can cut out some things that it shouldn't, so you need to keep an eye on it and review the video. It also requires us to log into YouTube frequently, which is likely a security feature, but seems to be more frequent than is ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
