Recommendations to others considering Dext:

Just do it! We absolutely love the product and would highly recommend it to any firm looking to scale their practice. In addition, the staff are friendly and easy to deal with and so I would definitely suggest getting in touch with them whenever you have any problems. Overall, they have streamlined our bookkeeping process and allowed us to take on many more clients than we ever could have done without the platform. If you are looking to have a scaleable practice, then implement RB now and ensure you team are fully equipped in how to use the system and it will save you hours that you can use towards getting more clients onboarded and also save you a room full of files :) We don't keep any files at our office and its one of the key things we tell all of our clients as I think this is a common occurrence at most normal accounting firms. I remember when I was an audit clerk that there was a massive filing room. This seemed crazy, but it was necessary due to the old way of doing things. With Receipt Bank, this is no longer the case and so one can now keep everything digitally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once a month from one particular client I collecting a 3 inch high stack of invoices. They are in the hospitality industry, I was entering these individually and desperately wanted scans of the invoices but it was incredibly time consuming. What do you like best about Dext?

Receipt bank assists businesses to help keep track of all the incoming receipts, invoices and reimbursements flowing into the business. Staff can upload documentation by taking pictures on their mobile devices. Rules can be set for suppliers; auto entry rules can be created exporting transactions into your accounting software. Huge time saver for staff and business owners. Many large businesses still have manual antiquated processes of printing paper and manually entering data into software to manage accounts payable and credit card reconciliations. Recommend if you have multiple credit card holders on your commercial credit card investing in Receipt Bank will save hours of time for credit card holders and accounts staff. Receipt bank reads the last four digits of each credit card and you set up rules to post to the general ledger account in your accounting software. Small and Large businesses will also benefit from Receipt Bank’s Invoice Fetch Feature whereby you connect key suppliers to send invoices directly to receipt bank. Currently Receipt Bank has over 2000 key suppliers to choose from to name a few; Bunnings, Office Works, Genesis Energy, Optus, Telstra Time to get organised and invest in Receipt Bank. What do you like best about Dext?

Love the time saved via automation, and the ability for people to submit and approve expenses through the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dext?

Would be nice to have stricter workflows and the ability to set teams. Right now, if you are someone who approves expense reports, you have visibility into every employees receipts, but it would be nice to restrict this visibility to only certain teams.
