We purchased the DORA Framework and this tool helps us clearly visualize our compliance, the dashboard, like most things, is customizable, which is a great plus. Support was great from the start and invaluable to us in creating and submitting our Information Register. In a nutshell, we feel like we are in great hands with Formalize because anything we'd like slightly differently can generally be adjusted, and we are supported with any questions, which helps us to get the most out of the tool. There is little to dislike, to be honest. For the Information Register, it was sometimes difficult to understand an error and where it lay within the connections, but this may well be due more to the design of the regulatory template than Formalize. Working in the insurance world, the implementation of the RIO is a truly complex and regulatory subject where it is very easy to make mistakes. To build a fully consolidated GRC framework — with all applicable regulations, controls, risks, and supporting evidence properly linked — the initial setup and understanding of the platform’s logic can be a bit challenging. The flexibility that makes Formalize so powerful also means there's a bit of a learning curve, especially when mapping everything for the first time.
