"A Must-Have Free Tool for SEO Visibility and Site Health Monitoring"
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

Google Search Console gives us direct insights into how our website is performing in Google Search and it’s easy to use and implementation. We use it regularly to monitor keyword rankings, identify indexing issues, track impressions and clicks, and submit new content. It’s super easy to set up, and the performance report is especially useful for spotting underperforming pages or rising queries. Also, getting alerts about technical issues like mobile usability or core web vitals helps us stay proactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

The data delay (typically 1–2 days) can be frustrating when we want real-time feedback. Also, some of the terminology (like coverage errors or CLS scores) can be confusing for non-technical users. A few more interactive reports or visuals would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent dashboard and exporting tool for reporting and analysis"
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

It's most helpful in the ability to export top keywords and analyze/group from there, as well as see year-over-year performance in clicks, CTR and impressions. Some of the stakeholders looking at this data are looking at specific keywords or phrases, which GSC is very helpful in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

Can be a bit overwhelming for new users, it would be helpful to have a more comprehensive and intuitive "overview" page when first logging in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google Search Console?

Google search console one of the best tools to analyize the website techincials like, Why pages aren’t indexed, reason and source of pages aren't indexed. and the pages that aren’t indexed can’t be served on Google, crawled - currently not indexed, Google systems, alternate page with proper canonical tag, not found (404), Not Started, soft 404, etc. and It helps track keyword rankings, click-through rates (CTR), impressions, and indexing status—all in one place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

Personaly I dislike about Google Search Console is that the data is sometimes delayed by up to 2-3 days, which can be frustrating when trying to make real-time SEO decisions. Some advanced filtering or data segmentation options are also limited compared to third-party SEO tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The definitive source of truth for your site's SEO health"
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

The best thing about Search Console is getting performance data directly from the source. There's no guesswork. Being able to see the exact queries users are typing to find our pages, along with clicks, impressions, and average position, is invaluable. This data is the foundation of our entire SEO strategy, helping us identify content opportunities and track our progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

Not enough data for LongWhile the tool is fantastic, my main frustration lies with the data aggregation. It often groups a huge number of valuable, long-tail keywords into a "(not provided)" or "other" category, which makes it difficult to analyze the performance of more specific, high-intent search terms. I wish there were less data sampling and more robust reporting tools to drill down into the full query set without hitting a 1,000-row limit in the interface. I use it daily for checking the status of my website. This helps me fix problems fast and get more visitors. Also its ease to integrate to my website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

Sometimes the reports can be a bit hard to understand for beginners. It also takes time for new data to show up, so I wish it was faster to update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear insights into search performance with Google Search Console"
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

✅ URL Inspection drills into crawl status, index coverage, Core Web Vitals, and structured-data validation for any page in seconds, so I can confirm that new or updated content is eligible to show in Google results or pinpoint the exact rendering error when it is not.

✅ The Performance report surfaces impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position by query, page, country, device, and date range, giving granular visibility into winning search terms and low-CTR opportunities without exporting to another platform.

✅ Coverage and Sitemaps reports combine to highlight server errors, 4xx/5xx responses, redirected URLs, and excluded pages while letting me submit XML sitemaps or individual URLs for faster recrawling—essential when a release accidentally deindexed sections of the site.

✅ Experience and Mobile Usability dashboards track Core Web Vitals, HTTPS adoption, and layout-shift problems; automated e-mail alerts mean I rarely miss a regression after front-end changes.

✅ The Links section lists internal and external linking patterns straight from Google’s index, so I can validate outreach wins or detect paid-link penalties early.

✅ A robust API and BigQuery export options let me pull raw query data beyond the 1,000-row UI limit and merge it with Analytics for deeper cohort analysis—crucial for large catalogs.

✅ Verification options (DNS TXT, HTML file, GA/GT-M tags) make onboarding flexible; I can provision temporary access for agencies without sharing my primary Google account.

✅ It is completely free, integrates natively with Google Analytics, Ads, and Data Studio, and remains the single source of truth for how Google actually sees the site’s HTML, canonical tags, and schema. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

Fresh data lags by 48 hours, so campaign launches or critical outages lack real-time feedback; I fallback to server logs or third-party rank trackers for same-day trends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

I think AI could be integrated more effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast indexing and tracking of visit data, even if incorrect"
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

We send a sitemap for every new website we create. Also, the data on which position we are in for which keyword is important. It is very easy to use and its interface is very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

It is often full of bugs. We usually get errors when sending a sitemap. Visit analysis is not correct, there are serious differences between it and Google's own service Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
