What I like most about using Hide My WP Ghost is that I can replace my existing security plugin (WordFence) and improve the hardening of my website. Hide My WP Ghost let me make more security changes to the site WordFence didn't such as changing the login URL, hiding the fact my site is built with WordPress, hiding themes and plugins etc. It's really easy to use and I feel that my site is better protected now I am using Hide My WP Ghost. I did have one issue where the site looked a bit messed up after logging out. I discovered that the caching SiteGround caching plugins were causing the issue there. When I contacted support, they replied back within 24hrs and that is for the free version. The only downside I have had is when I integrated V3 ReCaptcha. This isn't so much the fault of Hide My WP Ghost but ReCaptcha. I was locked out of my site so I had to disable all plugins, get back in and remove the V3 ReCaptcha for a more simple math puzzle instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using My Ghost Pro plugin for over a year, and I have great experience using it. The plugin protects my websites. I am 100% satisfied with My Ghost Pro plugin. If there is any issue, Peter and his team go beyond the call of duty to resolve it. Customer support is fantastic. In the past, I used a similar product (I bought it on the Envato market), but it didn't satisfy my needs. However, I decided to buy the Pro version of this plugin and didn't regret it. This one just works. It's relatively simple to set up (easy integration), and it has many security features except just hiding some WP traces. Customer support is also top-notch.

This is not the fault of Hide My WP Ghost, but if you change settings you always have to reload your nginx server (if you are on nginx). I think on Apache / LiteSpeed it's easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While, ultimately, I needed to deactivate the Ghost on my site, the support I received from Peter and the developers at Ghost was exceptional. They went above and beyond to get the plugin working on my quirky site, even offering to implement all the redirects in my WPEngine account (since WPEngine doesn't always play nice out of the box with Ghost) and run testing to make sure all was working as it should. I have been using Wordfence Free version for security but it was insufficient and my site will get Malware from time to time. I try Hide WP Ghost and it worked well for me. I am glad that i have this plugin in my site. The feature i loved is “Temporary Login” and ‘Limit Password attempt” . it is cost effective and it is much more cheaper than other security plugin that i Wanted to buy. As a software engineer for a middlewear J2EE web server in my day job, I fully understand the complexity of securing a website. I don't use a common admin account name, enforce 2FA, and block access from any foreign IP addresses and that has reduced the amount of bot etc activity significantly. But, I still saw room for improvement with relocating the login URL etc and WP Ghost makes that easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's hard to accomplish website security without a lot of changes to the backend server config and that makes this a more complex plugin than some WP users may be used to.
