Recommendations to others considering Penji:
Would I recommend Penji? Absolutely. If you’re on the fence, start with one of the lower-tier plans — or even better, start with a plan that allows two projects at once. It helps you learn faster how to give feedback and what works well in the relationship. Just go into it with the mindset of giving it at least three months to really hit stride. That said, it’s month-to-month, so there’s low risk — and unlike some other services, you’re not locked into a long-term contract. Totally worth trying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Penji solving and how is that benefiting you?
Penji eliminates the need for an internal design team. I don’t have to hire, vet, train, or manage in-house designers — which saves a ton of time and overhead. Instead, I get access to a pool of talented designers and a dedicated art director who keeps everything aligned to our brand guide. The Penji team is fast, responsive, and truly growth-minded. They take feedback seriously, they communicate well, and they’re consistently outpacing what an internal designer could handle in both speed and volume. I can run multiple projects at once, pivot quickly when priorities shift, and trust that the creative output is going to stay on-brand without constant oversight.
Our Art Director Luis has been super great at making sure our projects get the right designers and that the feedback is taken.
A few stand out designers have been Andreina, Sarahi and Jose - they've all done some really impressive work for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
