"Great product, unbelievably great support"
What do you like best about Stytch?

Finding Stytch after struggling to understand how to integrate with Okta or other needlessly complex products felt like finding an island of sanity in an ocean of insanity. From the very first look at the docs, we were convinced this was the KIND of thing we'd been looking for.

When it came to trying it out and ultimately making the bet on Stytch, we were not disappointed. The coherent APIs and easy-to-understand docs are great. The access to support, advice and help from the Stytch team is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

I'm having a hard time thinking of anything about the product I truly dislike. Here are some lukewarm exceptions to our enthusiasm:

* The custom email templating is adequate but not great.

* Access to various a-la-carte features is hard to figure out from the website (but the team is always ready to talk/explain) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent auth product"
What do you like best about Stytch?

We're a small team working to build an ambitious product. Relying on Stytch for authentication lets us spend less time on features that are essential to get right but won't differentiate our product so we can focus most of our time and energy on the core product offerings that our users request.

Integrating to Stytch for login and authentication was a great process. Not once but twice, we really lucked out when they shipped a new feature right when we needed it (custom email templates, M2M authentication).

Overall, they've been a dream to work with. Their team is so responsive, quick, and helpful when it comes to answer questions and getting you back on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

I don't have a lot to say here. As I mentioned, there were a couple features we wanted but our needs lined up with their roadmap perfectly and they were awesome about giving us access to what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wish I had used this sooner"
What do you like best about Stytch?

* Would have been exceedingly simple to use if we had built our product with Stytch from the beginning.

* We've had an exceedingly responsive point of contact throughtout the migration process. They've been able to both help us out with implementation questions and advocate for small feature requests we've had along the way.

* Migrating to Stytch has some challenges, but seems significantly simpler than migrating to other auth providers. API approach has allowed us to gradually implement Stytch functionality into our existing systems without negative user impact. Most of our difficulties arise from migrating from a homegrown solution to Stytch. Assumptions have varied in ways that have caused some friction. None of these were signficant blockers and any many cases Stytch was able to add in new functionality to ease the transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

* Some lack of flexibility compared to a homegrown solution, but this is more than made up for in other ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Developer Friendly, Frictionless Auth Provider"
What do you like best about Stytch?

Stytch has taken the hard part out of our authentication process by centralizing the way we think about user identification and how we apply that to our software products. The inclusion of SMS and onetime/magic links allows us to move forward with a password less future which is core to the future that we have and need. Love the concept and tooling and gives us the flexibility to operate they we need to. Plus they have a great support team that is responsive and easy to get in touch with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

Only main downside to using Stytch so far has been trying to integrate stych into our legacy identity provider. It is a future focused product, so integrating into a legacy software means taking a hard look at what you've done to make identity work as opposed to how easy it should have been. That has nothing to do with Stytch but more to do with how software products evolve over time. The more standard your implementation, the easier it is to integrate. "An excellent full-featured identity platform built for developers"
What do you like best about Stytch?

My team worked with Stytch to complete a large-scale identity platform migration. These migrations often present challenges, however, with Stytch, the process was remarkably smooth. Their customer success team worked closely with us from the planning phase to the technical implementation, testing, migration, and launch, ensuring an easy transition.

On top of this, we implemented several new features, such as Google OneTap and Email Magic Links, with minimal effort. Both have resulted in a significant reduction in user friction and had a positive impact on overall user engagement.

Integrating Stytch with our stack's touchpoints was incredibly straightforward. The provided libraries and code examples are full-featured and comprehensive. Also, the Stytch platform includes a built-in test environment and the ability to promote configurations from test to live with one click. This made transitioning from test to production incredibly easy.

Overall, I am impressed by the capabilities and features of the platform, which has clearly been designed with developers in mind. On top of this, the customer success team is exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend Stytch to anyone looking for a new identity platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

Overall, the product is excellent. The lack of log streams meant we had to rethink data collection, but using custom logging to overcome this was relatively straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bulletproof auth that's easy and scalable"
What do you like best about Stytch?

My team migrated an app from our proprietary auth mechanism onto Stytch. The Stytch team supported us in building our implementation for both a B2C and B2B mixed solution, which is already pretty complicated. Where Stytch is unique is in their ability to simultaneously support B2C and B2B auth solutions and distinguish between the two of them. We have been using Stytch for a few months now, and the developer experience and administrative platform have made it easy to make changes to our application, debug problems with the event log, and get in touch with the customer support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

Be aware of what languages Stytch supports for their client facing libraries. This was not an issue for us in terms of languages, but make sure that the language that you are writing backends/services in is compatible with one of the Stytch libraries, lest you need to interact with their API manually. "Stytch - unrivaled ease of integration/implementation and exceptional customer support"
What do you like best about Stytch?

When our previous authentication provider unexpectedly increased their prices as soon as we gained traction, Stytch came to the rescue. Not only is their pricing significantly better, but the level of 1-on-1 support we received throughout the migration process truly made us feel like valued customers (not that we even needed it really - the simplicity of their API made integration/implementation a breeze). It's rare to feel passionately about an authentication provider, but I couldn't recommend Stytch highly enough. I sing their praises to every developer I talk to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

If I have to come up with an area of improvement, I guess I would say: less comprehensive documentation (understandable for a startup/less-established company). However, this is easily made up for by their API's ease of use and the extremely dedicated support they provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best auth product I've used to date."
What do you like best about Stytch?

Stytch promises a lot in terms of flexibility and ease of use, and time after time they deliver.

They are truly a developer first platform, with a support team that goes unrivaled. Auth can get complicated, and has so much surface area, and the team behind Stytch has deep domain knowledge that makes them a pleasure to work and integrate with.

The initial set up was incredibly smooth and easy to get to market. Their test vs. live environments gave me confidence when I was ready to go to production. Adding new integrations is almost as easy as flipping a few switches. It's rare to find something that so often feels like it "just works".

My team is using Stytch for auth across four different platforms and with several options for how a user might want to register or login. As a developer at a small company (and one who has serially implemented auth solutions at start ups throughout my career) I can confidentally say this is one of the most promising and delightful products I've had the pleasure of using! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

Stytch is still relatiely new to market. There are growing pains and improvements to be made as this product matures. The dashboard is easy to use and intuitive, but some of the features still have room for growth.

That said, any time I have had even a hint of an problem, the support team has been so responsive, helpful, and available to fill gaps that I can't even really say anything negative at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An identity management platform that is well documented, fully featured, and cost effective"
What do you like best about Stytch?

Stytch has clear and helpful documentation. They provide an good set of comparison and migration docs as well. In addition, their team is available via slack and other methods to help you with implementations. The product is simple to implement and has all the features we want that are available at reasonable price points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

Stytch lacks a few admin and back office screens. This can be easily overcome with admin portal tools that you need to build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super intuitive auth integration with future proof features"
What do you like best about Stytch?

Compared to most integrations, Stytch has super developer-friendly documentation that worked on our first go! Additionally, it's pricing is reasonable, was easy to integrate, and user interface makes managing auth less of a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stytch?

We're yet to set this up but we'll need to audit roles for security & compliance. I am unsure how extensive this is within Stytch but in our initial set up, didn't see any mention of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
