"Good for working with databases"
What do you like best about Sequel Ace?

This is the sequel to Sequel Pro, so it inherits all the great features; it is cleanly organized, generally intuitive and easy to use, and generally efficient. It feels less crowded compared to other database softwares. It is also actively maintained as of this writing, which means it fixes some crashes on the latest macOS that was present in Sequel Pro. It supports the latest MySQL and MariaDB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel Ace?

The original Sequel Pro felt solid, short of some incompatibilities with the latest macOS and latest mySQL/MariaDB versions. The new Sequel Ace, while definitely an improvement in terms of fixes and new features, sometimes has some bugs, such as freezing when loading a table, not switching to the right database internally, etc. that can sometimes feel disheartening. It is also not as easy to clear filters. So there is room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very basic software, you will be able to work with your DB but no in a fluent way"
What do you like best about Sequel Ace?

It is clear to understand how to work with it. There is a sidebar for tables and a main view for data.

IT IS FREE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel Ace?

It is like a stateless app. You can always see only the current thing you do, it not saves any views.

Examples:

- If you open one table on a Content mode, then move to other table to Structure mode, then return back to previous table, you will be kept on the Structure mode.

- The Qeury editor is bad. No tabs for queries, you write all the queries on one window and if you want to work on multiple queries it is bad, they are all written in a one editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best DB management apps that I've used"
What do you like best about Sequel Ace?

First of all, the UI is amazing, it's easy to use and intuitve which makes it easier to me to use. We use multiple databases due to different services and the multiple DB support it offers makes it flexible. One of it's best features is advancd query editingwhic helps me with syntax highlighting and auto completion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel Ace?

It is just available on MacOS. Although I use MacOS for work, but I also have a Windows laptop, on which I cannot use Sequel Ace. I have also seen it consuming a lot of resources when I work with large databses or execute complex queries. Apart from these issues, it is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
