What do you like best about Setmore?

I use setmore daily to run my it consulting business, I'm a 1 man show, so the free tier of Setmore works great for me. It enabled me to include a booking page on my website and mobile app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

There really isn't 1 aspect of setmore that I dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Scheduling and Service Management, but Google Calendar Sync Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Setmore?

I like that it allows us to have appointments scheduled publicly but internally we can schedule appts, and also edit our availibility. I like that it will sync to your Google Calendar and allows you to offer multiple "services." We use setmore daily and do love the easy of using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

It doesn't allow us to code days as a specific service only for set days (virtual appt. only on tuesdays for example). The Google calendar sync doesn't always work great and has to be reconnected often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Setmore?

As a business owner I have used Setmore for 6 years.

I use this app daily to keep my appointments, clients, location, income/outcome aligned.

Logistically Setmore has helped me organize my clients in the most efficient manner possible as many of my clients live in different locations~ different cities and in some cases different countries and time zones.

Having Setmore has allowed me to efficiently manage my time, clients, and even income for scheduling life and appointments all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

There are a couple of things that could be made very helpful with small changes to Setmore:

Managing appointment times.

Some appointment times vary from an hour to 8-10 hours. It would be great to be able to schedule my service and have my income reflect accurately; for example if the work was to be 40.00 per hour and I am with the same client for 8 hours it would be helpful if when I schedule the client and service it was reflected in the 40x8 rather than having to repeatedly add the same client 8 times for an hour each to accurately reflect the income for that scheduled client.

Each service has a separate cost so it would be helpful if it were a bit easier to reflect in the bottom line rather than 8 hours for 40.00.

What do you like best about Setmore?

I love working with setmore, if i have questions they are fast in answering them and the system is very simple. This is really the goto for startups. The google agenda sync is really on point, i dont think there is any planner that syncs as accurately and fast as setmore! Put in the appointment and once you press next its in sinc with google agenda, also when you add something in your personal google agenda you can set it up as such that it automatically blocks out the times on your embedded planner on your site.

Im still in love with this program and i will always be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

I dislike the fact that there are too less ways of payment processing, only creditcard is accepted while the do use stripe to process them, stripe offers many ways of payment worldwide but that is not accepted at setmore. Also i would love to be able to set automatic followups and stuff like that that is not possible either Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Setmore?

Easy setup from the very first step, once you have a payment platform compatible with Setmore.

Creating services and customizing your business is very straightforward and all the options you can configure or toggle are thought on what a real business may require: time off, breaks, manually modify appointments, keep track of income and on a deeper level to leverage from the api to achieve even more if integrating with a custom backend.

Time zone management. Definitely a pros Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

Classes are limited to 50 seats on the free version. Even when I have been told Pro version has no limit, I have not tested it yet.

Payment reports having only a name to distinguish a client is also a downside since if a client only identifies himself with a common first name like John and you have multiple ones, it takes a while to realize who is the right one. A lot of cross checking involved. Maybe if adding another identifier like an email o customer id would be really helpful.

Also on the api, querying the clients by name requires to have a name database to work with beforehand. I also understand that retrieving all customers may incur on a heavy payload but it could be better consumed with pagination but definitely having a way to get all customers will be great.

I almost forgot to mention that time zone management works only at the creation of the appointment but on recurring reminders it seems to use the clerk time zone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that they dont have a fuction for where you can choose how long forward the costumer can book, and i dislike that it isnt any way for me to set up days for booking diffrently for each day and week, you can only set one time every day, and that you dont have any way of overwrite the system for booking when you dont have hours open Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Setmore?

Customer service is a disaster! We have had troubles with broken Zoom links for about 10 months. We have reported the same problem repeatedly and every day, a new CS agent starts from the beginning. I have been promised a manager will contact me to resolve the issue - I am still waiting 3 weeks later. This is disruptive to our business and not sustainable. What do you like best about Setmore?

Setmore is an excellent appointment scheduling platform, which we use to book psychology appointments. It's intuitive, easy to use, free and with excellent technical support - fast and effective.
