While I find SevenRooms to be an incredibly effective and efficient platform, there are a couple of areas where I believe it could improve. The first is the learning curve. Given its comprehensive range of features, new users might find it somewhat challenging to navigate initially, especially if they’re not particularly tech-savvy. It takes time to fully leverage all the functionalities, which could be smoother with more intuitive onboarding.
Secondly, although the platform's reporting capabilities are good, they could be enhanced with additional filtering parameters. This would allow for more tailored and specific reporting, reducing the need for manual exports and filtering. It would also be advantageous to have a quarterly summary that combines all reports, making it easier and quicker to analyze year-to-date trends. As someone who oversees many brands within one company, having a more visual and digestible reporting format would be immensely helpful, particularly for presenting data effectively.
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the Google integration seems to be glitching more frequently, and we’ve had to report several bugs for fixes. Addressing this issue promptly would further enhance the platform’s reliability.
