ShiftCare won me over for various reasons:
1. Publicly disclosed pricing, with simple, logical licensing tiers. Much more affordable than competitors, especially for a very small business like ours.
2. Answered all my tricky questions live on their webinar
3. Extremely responsive, friendly, helpful customer service
4. Easy to adjust license seats up or down mid-way through a billing cycle, with credits applied instantly
5. Excellent integration with Xero
6. Semi-public roadmap with regular improvements and bug fixes
7. Heaps of guides, videos, and webinars (unlike competitors who almost ask you to sign an NDA just to see the software in action) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• No dedicated mobile admin app and a non-Responsive Design website makes it difficult to manage tasks on the go
• Certain UX issues - e.g. non-standard date picker, which doesn't allow keyboard input; limited flexibility in scheduling shifts (e.g. only 15- or 30-minute increments possible)
• Managing recurring shifts could be smoother – requires lots of clicking around
• Split shifts are confusing and don’t reflect as expected in the carer app or timesheets
• Other minor but noticeable issues: apostrophed contact name formatting errors <> Xero, lack of automatic syncing with Xero for staff details, and small UI bugs in the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
