What do you like best about SimpleTix?

SimpleTix delivered outstanding results for our Christmas Festival, successfully managing 3,200 tickets over four days without a single issue resulting in record ticket sales in just one year of working with SimpleTix. The ticket scanning worked perfectly across both iOS and Android devices, and their promotional code system handled all our discount campaigns with ease. What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

After switching from Eventbrite, we are thoroughly satisfied with the platform. SimpleTix has exceeded our expectations in every aspect, from sales to attendance tracking. What do you like best about SimpleTix?

I love that it is simple, and it is relatively straight forward to set up an event. I also like that it is free to get started unlike Eventbrite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

I dislike that its hard to switch to a paid plan. The UI has prevented me from doing so although the website says there is a paid plan feature. I also dislike that there are no options for passing off ticket fees for the buyer for Pay what you can tickets. Given the state of our economy, a flexible pricing model has been how I've balanced getting folks to an event while raising revenue. When this feature is not available, I loose out on 100s of dollars from patrons that can pay for their contributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You're absolutely right about the paid plan confusion - our apologies! That premium plan language was outdated and we've now updated it throughout our site. We actually just have one simple pricing model: 79 cents + 2% per ticket sold.

Great news about your feedback on passing ticket fees to buyers for "Pay What You Can" tickets - this feature is actually on our product roadmap and is actively being worked on! We totally understand how important this is for your revenue.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

I am new and still learning, but I would love to see more of what we keep in our pockets.....what actually moves over to stripe....the reports have to much info in them as far as time and date....i'm sure its necessary for some people...but I would like it simpler. Date of Purchase Name of Customer, amount of ticket, fees to simple tix, fees to stripe, how much was transferred to stripe. I am having a hard time balancing out the events. We have more than one event listed. and I never know the exact amount per event that was transferred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting features you mentioned — like date of purchase, customer name, ticket amount, and service fees — are all available in our reporting center which can be found under Reports at manager.simpletix.com. You can view this data by order or event, and even export it to CSV.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

Well if you compare SimpleTix to On The Stage simple tix is missing some integration features like automated emailing of customers to help sell tickets, but that is not all that important because you can link with mailchimp to do that. What do you like best about SimpleTix?

We’ve been using Simpletix for approximately six years, and from the very beginning, they’ve stood out as an innovative and proactive organization. Their dedication to customer service is exceptional, and they are incredibly responsive to user issues, offering timely functional fixes whenever necessary. Given that we’re in the events industry, we know that quick assistance is crucial—and Simpletix has consistently delivered. I can remember when the SimpleTix founder called me directly to provide an assist - that's not merely customer service - that is customer devotion!

They make us look good! The platform has continuously improved over the years, and as an experienced event planner, I now look forward to seeing what new features they roll out next. Simpletix has introduced functionalities I didn’t even realize I needed, but which have significantly enhanced my event presentation. Their improvements have truly elevated the experience for both me and my attendees.

Since incorporating Simpletix's articulated seating selection for our galas, I've seen a dramatic reduction in the time spent on micromanaging details. More importantly, the platform’s user-friendly interface has made it incredibly smooth and straightforward for our guests to use. Over the last few years, with thousands of attendees, we've had only a handful of customer-related issues—all of which were user errors. The time savings, combined with the platform's reliability, has made our organization appear highly professional and efficient. Truly in 6 years there has not been online lag or server dropout. They are wizards!

The direct communication features and seamless integrations have truly streamlined our event management process. What once felt like a mountain of logistical challenges now feels manageable, even effortless. My teams onsite have reported that checking in guests in bulk is now simple, requiring no extra equipment or hassle. This has made events run much more smoothly upon first arrival, while at the same time we are confident that we’ve captured all necessary metrics for easy reporting from the SimpleTix portal post event—critical for budget planning and requests for future funding.

There aren't many downsides, but I would love to see a silent auction feature added.

In the beginning, the portal setup UI was a bit challenging to navigate, but that has improved significantly. What do you like best about SimpleTix?

SimpleTix is easy to use. Our trainer, Shawn, was very responsive to our questions and patiently walked us through the learning process. SimpleTix is pretty simple to use. Even though it has limited features we decided to use it due to it's simplicity and low fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

Only a couple of downsides.... 1. We wanted to give our guests the option of paying the fees for credit card ticket purchases. The program does not easily allow this to be optional, as most other software platforms do. We had to choose either to absorb the cost for all or pass the cost on to our guests for all. 2. We wish we had the ability to require guests to leave an email OR phone number. Instead we had to choose which to require. 3. We used the software to document check payments for tickets. We were told the fee would be $.25 per transaction. Instead, the full transaction fee was "charged" as if it was a credit card payment. Although the full fee wasn't actually charged, the appearance of this fee amount on our documents was confusing. It would be very nice if, when we post a cash/check payment, the system would automatically adjust the fee amount to $.25. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

The free and unparalleled support. Hands down. The software is very good and we've slowly learned to use it, but we've encountered some bugs and we've asked to do some unusual things, and as the primary user, I've made a lot of mistakes. What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

We moved from two other ticketing platforms. Among them Brown Paper Tickets which had some features that simpletix doesn't. It autogenerated press releases, which was pretty cool.
