What do you like best about SmartPass?

I am continually impressed with feature updates and the companies willingness to take feedback and suggestions to continue to improve the product for us. The customer support has been great, answering questions and providing great resources.

As a MTSS Tier 1 coach, we frequently use real time data into the engagement and movement of our students during class. Our teachers have been able to use data from student passes to have constructive conversations about the amount of in class engagement with their students.

Our teachers have shared the ease of use with sharing in and out time in the classroom with parents when communicating about their students progress. Our admin team has been able to use the data to help spot trends on student movement, allowing us to relocate hallway supports as necessary.

We have also used the data to help with interventions for students who were using too many bathroom/drink passes each day. We have seen a reduction as a result of using the data to support our intervention.

Our hall monitors and security, are able to report students who shouldn't be in the halls, allowing meaningful behavioral conversations between students and administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartPass?

I do not have any dislikes, because they are continually updating and improving their platform to support the needs of schools and students. If I were to have a wish, it would be that if the data would integrate into our SIS or other dashboards that would allow us to provide even more information from the whole child. What do you like best about SmartPass?

There's lots of flexibility within SmartPass for room settings, pass limits, encounter preventions, individualizing SPass for grade levels or specific students. The data we get from SmartPass helps us to make some decisions monthly. It's easy to use, easy to manage, and we have seen a huge improvement around keeping kids in the classroom and not in the halls during class time. The customer support is excellent! With this year's addition of the Bell Schedules, that has added another level of positives for us with the ease at which students and staff can create a pass - loving the addition! What do you dislike about SmartPass?

What do you like best about SmartPass?

SmartPass has helped us transform our hallways. We are better able to track student movement and increase classroom instruction time. We have used it to strengthen student relationships by opening conversations about classroom avoidance and ways to grow and improve. Our entire school community loves this product. What do you like best about SmartPass?

SmartPass has made an incredibly positive impact on our campus climate. Our teachers are able to see who is out in the halls, monitor how frequently students are using the restroom or being out of class, and prevent encounters for students attempting to meet up. Admin are able to see records of how many minutes and how frequently students are out of class and limit passes for those taking advantage. It is overall a wonderful subscription that we use daily. It was very easy to integrate into our existing systems because of the Clever integration. Jennifer Porter has been fabulous for customer support and helped us figure out how to easily integrate a kiosk system for our teachers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SmartPass?

I would like to have separate limits for kinds of passes. For example, a limit for restroom and water passes, and another limit for trips to the office or to services such as counseling or speech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SmartPass?

What do you like best about SmartPass?

I love SmartPass. We can keep kids out of the halls and restrict passes for students who would not be together. We have data about how long students are out in the halls and we can also limit the number of passes students are given each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SmartPass?

Smart Pass has cut down on office traffic so much and helped kids be more responsible for themselves for where they're supposed to be and when. I like the ability to limit number of passes and that you can temporarily close down locations. It was super easy to roll out and has an intuitive UI. We use it every day and the few times we've had a question or issue, the customer support is phenomenal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'll pass your feedback around mandatory notes along. I've also seen school staff deny passes with a message that says “request this pass again with a message”. Students seem to get the hint.
