"Amazing tool that works instantly and provides valuable data"
What do you like best about Typo?

Literally took a minute to set up and worked seamlessly.

Instantly helped me inspect metrics about my engineering team that no other tool on the market managed to assemble and present.

I now consult my Typo dashboard everyday. Even the free features offer valuable insight.

Has a free tier for small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

The code smell features don't behave too well with our team's type of development.

The core features are definitely built for bigger teams and SaaS/live-ops projects, which isn't always the case.

The pricing is pretty steep for a development analytics tool (higher cost per dev than our cloud SCM and wiki platforms combined) but the free tier is sufficient for me atm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very helpful and insightful tool to assist in measuring developer productivity"
What do you like best about Typo?

Once you're up and running with data coming is, it's super helpful when looking into developer happiness and effectiveness metrics.

And whilst you can compare to benchmarks, it doesn't feel like the metrics are the goal (very good thing), but a tool to surface information that starts a healthy conversation, rather than being a stick to beat devs with (again, a very good thing) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

It does take a little getting used to, and to make sure it's effective, you do need to spend the time setting it up properly.

That said, the customer support is exceptionally good (5+ stars) and made the setup process a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
