We have been with Avalara for many years and the cost continued to go up at astronomical rates and the service was mediocre at best. I shopped several other options and decided on Tax Cloud. The TaxCloud team was very pleasant to work with. Implementation went smooth with our payment processor Stripe, and WooCommerce. We chose tax cloud because while we handle our only state nexus in house, we have been worrying about keeping track of nexus in other states as we grow with our 3 entities. All sales tax products seem to be very expensive. Even with TaxCloud our owners were concerned about the price. However, through enrolling mulitple entities we did receive a better deal. We've used several sales tax compliance services, but none come close to the reliability and affordability of TaxCloud. Their integrations with our software are very quick and straight forward to set up, and their service is far cheaper than other options we've tried (by several orders of magnitude in some cases). TaxCloud has been a game-changer for managing multi-state tax compliance efficiently and cost-effectively. Ease of use. Once you are set up you do not have to deal with the complicated tax laws with each individual state. Being a small business owner our time is extremely valuable since we are wearing so many hats to make our business run.
