We love having everything in one place, including a secure portal for documents and messages. We communicate with the clients through TaxDome so that the entire team is able to see the messages. This allows us to shift work as needed without having to duplicate requests to clients. Clients can upload their documents safely, and we get notified when they do. I’ve encountered a few downsides with the software, particularly in relation to invoicing. There are recurring syncing errors with our QuickBooks integration, which creates extra work. Additionally, I've recently had a recurring invoice payment fail, and there’s no alert system in place to notify us when that happens. I've also not had any luck in regards to solution. This may be a Stripe issue, but since they are so closely integrated I would have hoped for better. Another area for improvement is the client dashboards. Taxdome is an all in one software. My clients are really happy using it, and I don't need to worry about security as it is GLBA compliant.
