What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I love the ease of use along with reporting that is accurate and easy to implement. The daily use of tekmetric by our teams gives us insight into the business and easily allows us to discover what we need to adjust to meet our sales and operational goals. Support is topnotch and if we run into issues, we get quick answers. Starting a new location is so easy and we love how it grows with our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

I would love a lower cost option but frankly the only issue i have is that many features require third party plug ins and punchouts. That can be costly and difficult to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I love that i am able to sign in from anywhere with this cloud based software. I really like the fact that the transition from Mitchell, after 10+ years, was seamless. The integration took no time and they were able to transfer everything from clients, vendors and invoice history. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

the p.o. system needs revamping with the system generating unique p.o. for each order so they can easily be separated and gone through then when receiving need to make it easier to partially receive parts i.e. if i have a 2 parts that were ordered on one p.o. but one comes in one day on one invoice and the second part comes in later with a second invoice number there should be an option to zero out incoming quantity then receive the invoice for the one part i have which will then show the second part as still not here then when it does show up it is a simple as receive the invoice and you are done Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I love the new update, it makes finding the RO's way easier the drop bar on the side is more accessible an it was before but it was fine that way they just made it better . it is so easy to learn how to use and makes being a tech way easier to do what I need to do for my advisor to show and explain to the customer in the most professional way. customer support is so fast when we need them its great. they have made it a ease of intergration from previous jobs we love it

Frequency of Use here at the shop we need to rely on it to work properly.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

Ease of use and clarity of communication from the technician, to the writer, and to the customer. We use this program easily 60+ hours a week with technicians being in the shop without service writer's being on site, and being able to still have estimates being put together is great for productivity. The program is so easy to use it allowed for seamless integration to our business when we switched shop programs. We have been able to get even our least tech savvy employees to use the program with ease on both tablets and desktop computers. Customer support has been great with what few issues we've had. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

Having viewed estimates and inspections on he customer end both on a desktop computer and a cell phone mobile browser, the multipoint inspections do display a bit cumbersome on the cell phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I really like the ease of use and how intuitive the program is. The Tekmetric team is very responsive and customer oriented. If a suggestion is made and the solution is pre-existing or there is already an implementation, they're always sure to walk you through it. The community is helpful and there really is little to be desired in the way the program operates. Additionally, the new updates and integrations the team is adding are extremely helpful. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

The main two things that I dislike are the inspections - there could be some improvements made there. But most of that comes down to response times and speed. When we upload pictures from mobile devices to the Tekmetric inspections, they take a very long time to load if they load at all. We've compared this to other inspection services and had better results outside of Tek. The second thing I think would improve things would be to complete the Mobile App. It has been on the under development list for a very long time. I feel having a dedicated separate application would likely help in the timing issue as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I work as a service writer and a tech too. So I have experience using the software with two different perspectives. When I started to work in this career most things where done in some old Pc program, that needed to be manually sync with the online providers, and a lot of time it mean to be hook on the phone waiting for something to get fix. But Tekmetric has everything in the same place, you don't need to be jumping hops trying to build and estimate. Highly recommend to any size of shop Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

When it come to use in my iPhone sometimes things don't work as intendent, specially if I'm using the browser option. I need to be zooming in and out all the time, every time I type something, things go out of the way. then I need to scroll all the way up to find what I was doing. At this point I'm use to it, and I can do it with ease, but I don't know if it is a iPhone problem of the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

I was responsible for teaching 5 different stores how to use TekMetric with only 10 hours of practice using it myself. What I thought was going to be a complicated task due to experience with previous shop software's including other cloud based programs, turned out to be complete opposite! TekMetric is my favorite shop program. I have actually convinced multiple other shops to make the change. I love the updates and that there's always improvements. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

My only complaint is that you cannot drag jobs or parts to re arrange, and that you have to go into the setting at the top of the page to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

We’ve been using Tekmetric for a few months now, and it’s made managing our auto shop so much easier. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes everything from scheduling to invoicing quick and straightforward. The mobile app is also a huge bonus for staying on top of things when we're away from the shop.

Managing customer and vehicle info is a breeze, and creating estimates and invoices takes just a few clicks. The inventory system has been a lifesaver—automatically tracking stock and sending reorder alerts saves us a ton of time.

The scheduling tool is great too, with a simple drag-and-drop feature and online booking for customers. It’s helped us avoid double-booking and streamline the workday.

Customer support is responsive and helpful, and the training resources made getting up to speed pretty easy. Especially, when first getting set up and integrating from another shop management system.

Overall, Tekmetric has helped us run a more efficient shop. Highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

Advanced reporting is only available on the higher pricing tiers, which can be frustrating for smaller shops. Right now, if you want those analytics, you're looking at paying upwards of $400/month for features that might not even be necessary for your business. It would be great if Tekmetric allowed shops to pick and choose the specific features they need, without having to pay for extra services they don’t use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
