What do you like best about Tropic?

I love that I can see everything in one place. I was living in multiple systems before tropic. I also like that I have gotten time back in my day to work on more strategic projects. I love the insights I have for vendors and knowing that there are a team of people supporting me. I am a team of one and the team of SME's is really useful to have. I use Tropic every day. The integrations were super simple to set up and when I need to make edits, those are also very simplistic. My implementation went well, I had someone with me the whole time and Tropic does a lot of the work which makes the onboarding much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tropic?

I wish there was a way to upload all of my additional vendor detail fields into the system with a csv instead of having to populate each manually. I also wish I was able to build custom reports. What do you like best about Tropic?

The thing that I have loved about Tropic is that they have so many AI features that have helped provide insights into our spending that has translated into savings. Additionally, it is very easy to use and customize workflows. Finally, we were able to consolidate 3 different procurement processes into one tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tropic?

The only thing that I have disliked about Tropic is that at first the workflows were a bit clunky so we had to customize quite a bit of the steps. But once we did that, things are running efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tropic?

Tropic allows our organization to have one source of truth for all of our software contracts. It also is like a virtual assistant helping us monitor and react to renewal reminders and offers key insights when negotiating contracts. What do you dislike about Tropic?

I would love to see Tropic more integrated with microsoft products. I would like to be able to automatically create meeting reminders, teams chats and other activities with ease. What do you like best about Tropic?

On October 1st, my company started using Tropic. By November 15, with the help of the Tropic support team, we had designed an entirely customized and somewhat complicated workflow in time for 2025 Contract renewals. We had never used POs before and Tropic was the perfect fit.

Apart from the platform itself, which I find incredibly intuitive and versatile - and the fact it completely changed how we manage Contracts - my favorite thing about Tropic has honestly been the Customer Service. Probably the best support I've ever received, beginning from our introductory meeting, then onboarding and training support, to just day-to-day issues that come up. I feel confident that competent people are handling what I need in a professional but personable way.

What do you dislike about Tropic?

We use the platform slightly differently I think that some of their other customers, and a credit to the versatility of their platform to be able to accommodate a critical change we needed - at the same time, other areas are (currently) more cumbersome for us because of that - though I suspect may not require major changes, it's just waiting for that update one day. My examples would be reports, which I believe they are in the process of updating, and better filters.

We use ALOT of tasks and having better filters would honestly really help me manage a large volume of requests at once, which is what's happening now. Being able to filter by Approver (not just Department or Requestor) - things like that.

Our other issue is we are driven by Netsuite class (not Department) - and Tropic is completely organized around Department. I think if they continue to expand, they will be even more versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tropic?

The most helpful thing about Tropic is the support of the product & success teams. They take feedback very seriously, and it feels like they are building the platform around your needs (in a good way). It's a very intuitive platform that can adds value across in multiple areas across the Procurment spectrum (spend management, requisition/workflow, renewal planning, contract management), but doesn't force you to do everything at once. What do you dislike about Tropic?

There's still room for improvement with the functionality & ease of use. There's always a way to do something in Tropic, but occassionally, it takes more steps or is more roundabout than it should be. What do you like best about Tropic?

The product has been very helpful in improving our procurement process and allowing us to track our spend. Also, Support, during implementation and after go-live, has been amazing! What do you dislike about Tropic?

There are some aspects of the product that are still a work in progress. Currently, there are some items that require manual work arounds or there are items that cannot be edited (e.g. questions in the request form). Also, it is not possible to approve requests in Slack or email, which can lead to confusion on the approvers end. What do you like best about Tropic?

I really like how Tropic has people who are very help. Josh Small has helped us a lot with getting set up into Tropic which has been a big help. I also like how everything in in one place for Tropic. What do you dislike about Tropic?

What do you like best about Tropic?
