"Excellent program"

What do you like best about ZWCAD?

I like the ease of using the program and how easy it is to find support online for a new user like myself. I have tried multiple didfferent programs to see which one I found easy for me learn and came back with ZW. I also like there FLEX options to pay by the month. That works excellent with my line of work as an offshore surveyor. Would highly reccomend this product to others starting out with a CAD program and wanting to learn. What do you dislike about ZWCAD?

"I can use almost all my knowledge from AutoCAD, to make it easy to start with."

What do you like best about ZWCAD?

Commands are very similar or same as AutoCAD and visually also look very similar, not to scare an unknown software to start with. Price wise it is very affordable in comparison to AutoCAD, which is a major concern for AutoCAD users, especially smaller companies like mine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZWCAD?

I wish you had human help for certain technical issues similar to AutoCAD. Although your chat support is very good still not comparable to human support in person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZWCAD?

ZWCAD is very lightweight, even if you have a high-spec PC. Having a lightweight CAD software will significantly improve your experience. It won't interfere with other design software when you need to open it simultaneously. Furthermore, ZWSoft, the developer, listens closely to customer needs, often incorporating requested features into new versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZWCAD?

The only issue was that the font type hadn't been added by default by ZWSoft for some reason. I was able to fix this by downloading it myself and adding it to the ZWCAD font directory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ZWCAD?

ZWCAD surprised me positively. It is incredibly lightweight, quick to open files, and very easy to adapt to, especially for those who have used other CAD programs. The interface is intuitive and the transition was practically immediate, without the need to relearn everything from scratch. I am amazed at how ZWCAD manages to be much superior to Autodesk's CAD. I've been using ZW CAD and found it to be a solid and cost-effective alternative to AutoCAD. The interface is familiar, making the transition easy, and performance is smooth even with larger drawings. What do you dislike about ZWCAD?

Occasional performance lags with very large or complex drawings.

Fewer advanced features compared to AutoCAD (e.g., limited 3D tools or customization options).

Some compatibility quirks when opening complex DWG files created in AutoCAD.

Fewer third-party plugins and industry-specific toolsets.

Help documentation and support could be more robust.
