  • Snowplow now has real-time event forwarding built into the console. With self-service configuration, teams can deliver behavioral data to downstream tools instantly. Configure destinations like Braze and Amplitude directly from your Snowplow environment. Define events, apply transformations, and monitor delivery—all without custom code or additional infrastructure. Event Forwarding is fully governed with schema validation. Every event passes through Snowplow's existing data quality and compliance checks, so you maintain trust in your data from collection through delivery. Teams can configure exactly which events to forward and how they're transformed. Event Forwarding is available now for BDP Cloud and Private Managed Cloud customers on AWS and GCP.     What happens when you move beyond analytics tools and start owning your data journey? Last week, I had the privilege to speak at the DDMA Digital Analytics Summit in Amsterdam🇳🇱 When I first joined our data journey, we were still relying on Google Analytics — a great tool for its time, but one that limited how far we could go with data ownership and flexibility. Fast forward to today, and we’ve built a Customer Data Infrastructure on Snowplow that enables multiple use cases across the organisation — from advanced analytics to personalisation and beyond. A heartfelt thank you to Marlous Been, Wing Yee Tang and the amazing team at Snowplow for their guidance and collaboration throughout this journey 🙏 And to DDMA for creating such a vibrant space where the analytics community can connect and learn from each other. So far, we’ve heard from Steen Rasmussen on ‘The great analytics circus,’ where he explored what data analytics promises vs what it actually delivers and how to stop juggling hundreds of distracting dashboards and focus on what actually matters - creating actionable insights for the decision makers. Another brilliant workshop from Erik Driessen introduced a very creative way to use data visualisation principles to analyze song lyrics sentiment and create data art with the resulting visualizations (free promo: get a t-shirt with visualization of your favorite album or song from Eric 👕✨).
