Delete a Campaign

You can delete LinkedIn ad campaigns that were created by mistake or aren't needed.  

Who can use this feature?

You need campaign manager access or higher on an ad account to delete campaigns. 

Important to know

Once a campaign has been deleted, the action can't be reversed. When you delete a campaign, all ads in the campaign will be deleted. Keep in mind, if you’ve used the ad in other places (for example, if it’s been sponsored or duplicated), it won’t be deleted in those places.

To delete a campaign: 

  1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.

  2. Click Advertise on the left menu.

  3. Click the correct campaign group name. 

  4. On the Campaigns tab, select the box next to the campaigns you'd like to delete.

  5. Click the Delete icon at the top of the page.

  6. Click the Delete button to confirm.

You can view deleted campaigns that had performance metrics in Campaign Manager.

To view deleted campaigns:

  1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.

  2. Click Advertise on the left menu.

  3. On the Campaigns tab, click the Filters dropdown.

  4. Select Deleted.

  5. From here, you can choose to view the deleted campaign's performance metrics, or duplicate it if you'd like to use the campaign in the future.
