Trying to discuss a potential new account and service with the company and it is impossible to speak to a real person, weather it is through the 'live' chat or email all you get is AI nonsense responses that do not even understand what you are asking!

Dead Animal products in Vegan bags!!!

Visited the Newcastle (town centre) store about 11-11.30 today (30/08/25) and bought 2 vegan sausages rolls, 2 meat sausage rolls and 4 cheese scones which I put in my back till I reached my destination.

When I went to get them out my bag I looked for the vegan sausage roll bag and started to eat them, half way through I thought something was not quite right so I checked the other bag of sausage rolls and this bag also had the vegan sausage roll logo on and it turned out I had been eating the meat sausage rolls as both sets had been put in vegan sausage roll bags!!

I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years and this has made me feel both physically and mentally sick that I have eat dead animals through your products not being in correctly labeled bags!

Seller has issues

Bought a few comics off eBay, unfortunately one arrived damaged, which happens from time to time but then the fun really started. The seller tried to claim it was 'industry acceptable damage' it all my years of comic buying I have never seen a new comic in this bad a shape and never heard any seller try to use the term 'industry acceptable damage'. The owner then tried to threaten, harras and intimate me by first saying they would remove postage from return costs after accepting a return, which I said I would challenge, the owner then tried to threaten me by saying they would stop me buying from their again as if I would after this experience. The owner was sending me eBay messages well into unsociable hours, the last one being 23.30, trying to talk down to me and being patronising asking 'if I was new to comic collecting' and if I was sure what damage and graded were, to the point that I had to report seller to eBay for harassment. I left feedback and would have left everything their but the seller has got my feedback remover from eBay, so do not believe their feedback as they get quite a lot of negative feedback removed and has got their friends to buy things from me and raise issues, despite me not having one issue on eBay for over 19 years, they have all been reported to eBay for this. I would advise to stay away

We're sorry to hear this buyer was unhappy with their experience. This order was placed via eBay, not our website, and the comic in question was returned due to what the buyer described as "damage."

When we responded by referencing our listing description, which notes that minor production-related imperfections, such as spine colour breaks, are common and not considered damage; the buyer immediately left negative feedback on eBay before the item was returned or inspected.

Once the comic was received, we confirmed it was not damaged. eBay reviewed the case and removed the feedback, agreeing that the item matched the description.

Despite this resolution, the buyer has since posted similar feedback across unrelated platforms, including this Trustpilot page, which is intended for our website customers.

We welcome constructive feedback and are always happy to clarify our grading policies, but we do ask that reviews reflect the full context of the transaction.

Bait and Switch Techniques Used by Sellers

This site is awful, sellers set their OWN prices and up to three packages.

I have contacted multiple sellers and each one comes back with prices 3-5 times more than their advertised top tier packages, despite me asking for less or exactly what their packages describes. Prices seem a trick just to get clients to contact them.

If a seller is unable to deliver a service at their advertised price they should not be able to list at this.

You could buy here or cheaper from scalpers

Wow! Card shop charging more than scalpers, unbelievable!

The shop claims to be "for the community" and that they "value" their customers but that must only apply when their is not extra profit to be squeezed out of people, new release Pokémon ETBs £20 above retail, various single packs £10, £15 and even £45 in some cases!

Before TCs starts saying it's about market fluctuations, suppliers, staff costs, rent ect ect their is a local shop the next town over who orders a small fraction of what TC dose from the same distributor, so dose not have the wholesale buying power TC dose but still sells the ETBs at retail. The ETBs are cheaper from scalpers on eBay/ Facebook ect and are delivered to your door, with proof of purchase. Other reputable online stores are selling the £45 packs TC has for £30, £15 below TC and yes they order directly from the supplier to and are genuine.

Honestly, why anyone buys for or supports this store is beyond me. Really disappointing and such a shame for a card shop this size that is right on our door step.

Left without access to debit or credit account

App would not work for days, so uninstalled it and reinstalled it then said my security log in was incorrect and had to call a number to reset. Called the automated number to be told I had to reset another phone password code, got a operator who asked about ten questions at one point she was getting confused about what she was asking because of this was told I had to visit branch with photo ID which is over 30 miles from me. Operate said she could send some form of activation process to my home phone this never happened, told operator I want to put a complaint in and they hung up. Now have zero access to either my credit or debit account and no way to sort it out!!!!

Beware New Customers!!

Once again, Franks delivering the absolute worst service they possibly can.

Unfortunately, after our last issues with Frank and one of our pups, we had to make a claim for our other pup, who had to have a double operation procedure, one to address the health issues and one to help prevent the issue or a new one reoccurring. Frank thinks it is acceptable to cover less than half the cost.

Once again, they say they do not cover 'take home medication' which is ridiculous as this is what is prescribed by a vets to help treat the condition. They have also changed the age threshold of when their increased excess stars during this claim from the last one, even though this was never mentioned when we originally signed up with Frank.

Sets up direct debits without permission

Part two of this ongoing saga, we told three different departments within Frank that we wanted to cancel both auto-renewals on our pet insurance due to their awful 'insurance' and was told auto-renewals can not be cancelled untill the renewal date, which is not correct, under 'The Consumer Act' auto-renewals can be cancelled at any time during an insurance policy, we have now had to raise an internal complaint, part of which involves not being able to cancel auto-renewals. Was told multiple times in emails by customer service managers and claim handlers that once the auto-renewals came up they would cancel them their end, I have copies of all emails correspondence before Frank says this was not said.

Surprise suprise, got emails today saying both policies have been auto-renewed and two two direct debits have been set up, after explicitly telling three different departments we did not want to auto-renew. The renewals and direct debits have been set up without our consent. When you go on to your Franks insurance policy portal again no surprise no option to cancel auto-renewal, loads of options to add more extras but no clear guidance on how to cancel. Will be contacting the financial ombudsmans about this too and trading standards. Will also go to the bank and cancel direct debits from the new renewal date

I’ve already responded to Mrs. Toas and explained that I can see you are in the very capable hands of the complaints team, who will independently review all your concerns from start to finish and ensure you get the best possible outcome.

I also explained that most pet insurers send out renewal invitations well in advance (40 days in our case) of the actual renewal date. The intention is to give customers enough time to review cover, price and to shop around. No money will be taken in this 40 day period and you can cancel at any point if you are not happy with the offer in the invitation. I can see the invitation was sent to Mrs. Toas today and was cancelled shortly after.

Avoid if you want any real cover

DO NOT USE, BE WARNED
Had to make a claim for one of our pups that was 'insured' with this company, the total was just over £585 and they paid out just over £150 stating all kinds of exclusions and points which were never mention or discussed when signing up to the policy. They have excluded treatment that the veterinary has classed as ongoing treatment for this new condition.

I have never in all my life heard of such exclusions in a pet insurance policy, they make the policy useless in almost every situation. I have requested a breakdown of what they have covered and what they have not covered and raised a internal complaint to get a 'final response' before complaining to the financial ombudsman. Needless to say I will not be renewing any of my policies with these and will be going back to a actual insurer like Tescos

Save yourself the headache and avoid

Placed a order here before and everything went well so thought I would order a few more comics I was after.... Unfortunately this time is turning into a terrible experience, no update on my order and I have now sent two emails to chase my order up, neither of which have been replied to to make matters worse the comics I did order I could of ordered off a private seller when I was ordering a big order from them to and saved on extra postage but did not due to having them on order from here. No idea if the order is going to turn up or of I will even be able to get my money back.

Awful experience

Awful experience, went to the Durham store to get a contact phone and was overcharged £50 for the upfront cost. When we went back to discuss with the agent we were stood for over half a hour while he tried to issue a refund, in the end he turned around and said 'The till would not let him refund the difference' even though the till has open and had money and 'the best they could do was offer a goodwill gesture to spend in store'.

Tried to contact Currys direct to discuss this issue but supprise supprise they do not list a direct customer care email and the telephone service is automated and just loops round the same options before telling you to do everything on line. The web chat is also automated and always says 'noone is available right now' as soon as you mention complaint or refund but ask about buying a new product and a agent is available instantly but can't help with complaints as it's 'not their department'

Connection Issues Every single time

Absolutely peed off, spent tens of thousands of pounds on warmup products for underfloor heating and the thermostats just disconnect or have "connection issues" anytime you try to use them so you have to delete everyone and reconnect them EVERY SINGLE TIME may as well have just bought regular thermostat. I am absolutely raging at the amount of money I have spent on products that do not work!!!!

Ordered two dog coats, used sizing guide for both, both come at least two sizes too big!

Trying to get hold of someone to discuss this with and it is impossible, noone on live chat, except a chat bot, no email for customer service and if I want to use the automated return service they want to charge me £2 per item for their products been described wrong

What a truly horrendous site to use

The website for this company is just terrible to and try and get any information from, a lot of the things such a legal packs for auctions seem hidden (I had to email to ask for a link to find it). Then you had to make yet another online account to access the pack but once that was made the site just kept saying all the login details were incorrect despite me making the account less that 30 seconds and all long in and confirmation emails coming through to my email fine. Suffocate to say I have moved on from this property and will not be looking at anything else by this provider.

We receive a call every 30 seconds and only have 233 inspectors and 128 animal rescue officers across England and Wales to investigate animal welfare concerns and rescue sick or injured animals.

Our priority is helping the animal as quickly as possible, whether it is us that takes this forward or another organisation or authority.

Can Access features/ services

Only had this phone 1/2 a day and already thinking of canceling my contract with ID. A lot of the contracts/ system settings can only be changed through your ID Mobile profile online or through the app BOTH of which are unavailable due to 'maintainace' between 10pm-7am!! Essentially making my phone and the services offered useless as they stuck behind a inaccessible account
