Sample Applications

To demonstrate Plugin SDK concepts, Front provides the following sample plugin applications:

• Logistics TMS plugin—This plugin is useful for most logistics or customer service applications, including customer support, finance, retail, and hospitality.

  The plugin reads data from an external system in order to augment the information available to the Front user via the sidebar. The extra information allows users to answer customers more quickly and with higher quality responses. Additionally, users can draft replies with prepopulated information from the external system, create internal notes, search for additional records, and view positional information that would be helpful for logistics or fulfilment use cases.

• Auth0 - Reach - Vite template plugin—This is a starter template with common web frameworks for scaffolding apps and supplying authorization.

Scaffold plugins quickly with AI

The following sample code plugins have been scaffolded with an AI Prompt File that you can access to create your own plugins quickly and effectively:

• NetSuite Manager: A sidebar plugin that allows teammates to view and manage NetSuite directly from Front.
• Subscription Manager: A sidebar plugin that allows teammates to view and manage customer subscriptions directly from Front.
• Attachment Encryptor: A composer plugin that lists all attachments in a message draft and allows users to encrypt them before sending for secure transmission.
