I agree. I can't stand the transparent tiles. It makes it hard to find what I'm looking for. It either needs to be changed back or give us an option to revert to the solid style. I hope Opera takes care of this. In the mean time I will keep searching for another browser.

The standalone version worked fine... Then, in the Opera that I used to use, I deactivated all Extensions.

And the Gmail standard view worked!!! But now, I reactivated all the Extensions again, and is still working '-' So I know where the problem is, but it's not affecting me anymore...

If Gmail stops working again, I'll know what to do... And it's easier than cleaning the cookies...

@arendpeter I have the same issue, it's still happening and I have no option in settings to disable it. I updated today, so if there were any settings to do so it would be here, on latest.

I hope they can correct this behavior, because it's counter-intuitive and potentially unintentional, however it has been this way for around 2 years since you made this post, so I don't think it's likely they'll fix it any time soon.

@queencobra You can use the icons available in the list. I guess you can also choose an emoji as an icon.

@diegopds83 There isn't, you need to keep the pages opened in each workspace.

@pachigz That would break the idea of workspaces. What you need is that Opera supports multiple profiles.

@lrei You probably can't. You can try replacing the contentes of the session folder with the ones in the backup to see what happens.
