Abstract

The invention relates to acaricides and more particularly to mites causing diseases, alergies and infections to human beings, pets and botany. The present invention mainly refers to compositions and methods for removing and controlling infesting mites using plant extracts, and mostly to oil extract compositions including Malaleuca alternifolia, Azadirachta Indica Neem tree, Citrus, and isopropyl alcohol. Moreover, the invention relates to compositions obtaining such effects from extracts acting as effective acaricide components that show a powerful effect against mites, providing the advantage of developing a minimum resistance against the same. Included are the composition and methods for removing and controlling mites affecting human beings and mammals, having a reduced toxicity, minimum residual activity and environment compatibility. In one embodiment, the compositions of the present invention further show an insecticide activity in plant infesting insects, the plant acaricide com position comprising essential extracts such as Malaleuca alternifolia, Azadirachta Indica Neem tree, Citrus and Natural water.
