Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a nuevos polímeros derivados de: (A) al menos una unidad a base de N-vinil amida y/o al menos una unidad a base de acrilamida, y (B) al menos una unidad que comprende: (i) al menos un grupo hidroxilo, y/o (ii) al menos un grupo funcional convertible a un grupo hidroxilo en donde al menos un grupo es convertido a funcionalidad hidroxilo en el producto polimérico; en donde el polímero comprende al menos un grupo éster. Los polímeros y composiciones se usan en aplicaciones de yacimientos petrolíferos, tales como un inhibidor de hidratos en gas y/o un inhibidor cinético de hidratos en gas. El polímero puede adoptar configuraciones alternas, de bloque y/o aleatorias de las unidades de repetición, con al menos un grupo éster.
