Abstract

"MéTODO PARA INDUZIR ATUALIZAçãO DE UM PRODUTO EXPANSìVEL". Módulos de segurança usados em televisão paga e em outras aplicações são destinados a se desenvolver e, desse modo, a serem substituídos. A fim de promover a substituição de uma geração anterior por uma nova, o método de acordo com a invenção consiste no envio, por um centro de controle, na corrente de dados, de um comando de orientação de solicitação, incluindo as características mínimas do módulo de segurança da nova geração, estabelecendo as características do módulo de segurança que está sendo usado e comparando com as características mínimas definidas pelo comando recebido e de acordo com os resultados dessa comparação, orientando o usuário para substituir o módulo de segurança.
