Abstract

<B>PELìCULA POLIMéRICA RESPIRáVEL NA FORMA DE MICROCAMADAS PARA USO NA FABRICAçãO DE PRODUTOS ABSORVENTES DESCARTáVEIS<D> Uma película polimérica em microcamada respirável compreendendo uma pluralidade de microcamadas coextrudadas incluindo uma primeira camada com um primeiro polímero extrudável por fusão e uma segunda camada com um segundo polímero extrudável por fusão, o primeiro polímero extrudável por fusão possuindo uma primeira taxa de transmissão de vapor d'água e o segundo polímero extrudável por fusão possuindo uma segunda taxa de transmissão de vapor d'água menor do que a primeira. Um método para fabricar tal película respirável é também revelado. A película polimérica em microcamadas é respirável, porém pode também ser uma barreira a líquidos, organismos microbianos, toxinas orgânicas e fluidos corporais, e é adequada como um material de forração para itens descartáveis tais como fraldas. Ao mesmo tempo em que o primeiro polímero é mais respirável, o segundo polímero pode conferir outras propriedades à película em microcamadas tais como propriedades aprimoradas de tração.
