Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une fibre élastique formée à partir d'une matière élastomère. Selon cette invention, la fibre atteint une force de compression efficace pour une extension située entre 20 et 60 %, valeur à partir de laquelle toute extension ultérieure de la fibre, jusqu'à une extension de 100 %, est simplement accompagnée d'une faible augmentation de la force de compression. La fibre élastique résiste à la dégradation par les huiles hydrocarbures. La matière élastomère contient des copolymères séquencés segmentés à hétérochaîne.
