Abstract

The invention discloses a level set-based correction method for cup-shaped artifacts in cone beam CT, which is applied to the correction of cone beam CT slice images. The method can adaptively correct the cupping artifacts of cone beam CT, and can automatically complete the correction without manual intervention. This method does not need to repeatedly scan the object to be measured; it does not increase the complexity of the cone beam CT system; for the reconstructed slice images, it can be directly oriented to the user without any modification to the original equipment of the original cone beam CT. After completing the correction work, the method can efficiently correct the cupping artifacts of cone beam CT, and can also improve the contrast of the image.
