Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of transport network communications, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for controlling a service under a stateful Path Computation Element (PCE).
Background

In the aspect of path computation, the PCE is introduced as a separate functional entity, and is specially used for increasingly complex traffic path computation. In terms of service management, the conventional related technologies and standards based on MPLS-TE and GMPLS are well developed, and they mainly use Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) to establish a Label Switched Path (LSP). The method for managing the services by using the LSP has the problems that each service is managed by a first node of a transmission network, distributed control is performed, and problems that global services cannot be optimized and control conflicts are caused are solved, so that a concept of centralized control of the SDN is gradually proposed.
With the introduction of the stateful PCE technology, the PCE can acquire services established by all control planes, master the whole LSP, and propose that the draft-ietf-pc-initiated-LSP draft initiates establishment of the LSP from the PCE, but only simply trigger service establishment, and do not relate to recovery and protection frequently used in a transmission network and service control of a multi-layer network.

And when the service is established, the service control device informs the first node of the service path of the recovery attribute by triggering the LSP establishment message. The restoration attribute indicates whether the established LSP has restoration capability, if the restoration path after the fault is specified in a preset mode, the restoration path can also be issued in the restoration attribute, and a plurality of preset restoration paths can be set to meet the requirement of multiple restoration.
After the failure occurs, the failure is known by the first node of the LSP, if the LSP has the recovery capability, the recovery flow is started, otherwise, the LSP failure is reported to notify the service control device.
If the LSP has a preset recovery path, the LSP head node directly uses the preset recovery path to establish a new LSP, and reports the path corresponding to the new LSP to a service control device after the establishment is successful, and a service control module associates the LSP to a service and updates the path corresponding to the new LSP to a service path management module; if the restoration path is not preset, the LSP first node reports to a service control device to inform the service failure, the service control device confirms that the service has the restoration capability, initiates new path calculation, triggers new LSP service path establishment to the first node after obtaining a new service path, reports the LSP service path establishment to a service control module after the establishment is successful, and the service control module associates the LSP into the service and updates the corresponding path of the new LSP to a path management module.
