2. A security cashbox as in claim 1 wherein: the cover plate assembly comprises a cover plate, wherein a width adjusting plate is arranged on one side of the cover plate, which is positioned on the front side plate, and a width adjusting groove is arranged on the width adjusting plate;
the cover plate is provided with a rotation limiting plate on one side of the top side plate, and the side of the cover plate is rotatably assembled with the side cover plates on two sides through a cover plate rotating shaft;
