The following description of the embodiments of the present invention will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is apparent that the embodiments described are only some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
The invention relates to a cleanable engine oil filter which mainly comprises four parts, namely a filter base 1, a filter top cover 3, a paper filter 2 and an opening and closing assembly, wherein the filter base 1 and the filter top cover 3 form a filter body, and the paper filter 2 encloses a hollow cavity 4.
The filter body may in particular comprise a filter base 1 and a filter head 3 detachably connected to the filter base 1, the paper filter 2 being located in an area enclosed by the filter base 1 and the filter head 3. When the paper filter 2 needs to be replaced, the filter top cover 3 can be removed after the cleaning is completed, the paper filter 2 can be taken out from the filter base 1, and then the filter top cover 3 can be covered after the new paper filter 2 is replaced.
In the above technical solution, the filter base 1 and the filter top cover 3 are in threaded connection. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the filter base 1 is provided with internal threads 108, and the filter top cover 3 is provided with external threads 302 matching the internal threads 108.
From the above description, it is clear that any way of realizing the separable or attachable filter head cover 3 and filter base 1 is possible, not limited to the threaded connection, and the separable purpose of both filter head cover 3 and filter base 1 is to be able to replace the paper filter 2 according to the actual use situation.

The second feature 105 surrounds the first feature 106 with a space therebetween for placing the paper filter 2.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 5, the outer surface 109 of the second feature 105 may be composed of a polygonal outer surface, which is suitable for the removal tool to remove the filter.
The first feature 106 and the second feature 105 are discussed in detail below, respectively.
(1) First feature 106
The first feature 106 has a through hollow region open at both ends that forms the oil filter mount channel 6 with an internal thread 103 thereon for connection with an external thread on the engine oil filter mount as shown in fig. 9. A filter sealing ring 101 can be arranged at the bottom of the filter base 1 and can play a sealing role with an engine oil filter mounting seat.
In order to achieve a fixation of the paper filter 2 at the distance between the first feature 106 and the second feature 105, an in-filter holder 107 may be further provided on the outer wall of the first feature 106. The paper filter inner support 107 extends along the length direction of the paper filter 2, and in addition, the paper filter inner support 107 may be made of porous aluminum or plastic, or other antirust materials may be used, and the specific materials are not limited, so as to fix the paper filter 2 and perform an overcurrent function.
It can be seen that when the medium (engine oil) enters the filter body through the oil inlet hole 102, the rubber return valve 104 is opened due to the pressure of the oil flow, the oil flow flows out from the gap between the check valve 104 and the inner bottom surface of the filter base 1, is filtered by the paper filter element 202 of the paper filter 2, enters the hollow cavity through the paper filter inner bracket 107, and then flows out through the opening I, namely, the oil inlet hole 102, the paper filter 2, the paper filter inner bracket 107 and the hollow cavity form a flow channel I. The medium entering the oil inlet hole 102 is engine oil, and when the filter is used in combination with a cleaning device or the like to perform a cleaning operation, the cleaning oil flows through the filter.
(2) Second feature 105
The second feature 105 surrounds the first feature 106 and has a space from the first feature 106 for placement of the paper filter 2.
The second feature 105 is detachably connected to the filter head 3, i.e. the second feature 105 is provided with an internal thread 108 and the filter head 3 is provided with an external thread 302 matching the internal thread 108.
From this oil inlet hole 102, a medium (engine oil) enters the filter base 1, and the oil inlet hole 102 may be provided in various shapes such as a circular hole, a kidney-shaped hole, an oval hole, or the like. The number of the oil inlet holes 102 may be set to be plural according to actual needs, for example, the number of the oil inlet holes 102 may be four to six. In order to prevent the medium (engine oil) from flowing back after entering the filter through the oil inlet hole 102, a rubber check valve 104 can be arranged at the oil inlet hole 102 to prevent the medium (engine oil) from flowing back after entering the filter.
(II) Filter Top cover 3
The filter head 3 is provided with external threads 302 which mate with the internal threads 108 to connect with the second feature 105. Further, an O-ring 303 is provided between the internal thread 108 of the second feature 105 and the external thread 302 of the filter head 3, acting as a seal. As shown in the a-direction view of the filter head shown in fig. 3, the outer surface may be comprised of a polygonal outer surface adapted for removal of the filter by a removal tool.
In order to realize strong adsorption of iron impurities in the flowing process of the medium, a strip magnet 301 is arranged on one surface of the filter top cover 3, which is close to the paper filter 2. The magnet 301 may be a bar-shaped permanent magnet, that is, a flat bar-shaped magnet as shown in the figure, and the magnet 301 may be provided in plurality as required, so as to strongly adsorb iron impurities in engine oil, prolong the service life of the paper filter, and prolong the maintenance time.
(III) opening and closing Assembly
In the technical scheme of the application, the opening and closing component is arranged on the filter top cover 3, is communicated with the oil inlet hole 102 and is selectively communicated or not communicated with the hollow cavity of the filter body. In order to realize that the medium flowing through the first through-hole 311 can selectively flow into the second through-hole 309 and/or the fourth through-hole 313 and flow out through the oil filter mounting seat channel 6, the fixing member 305 is further provided with a third through-hole 307, the through-hole 307 is located in the middle of the fixing member 305, and the movable member 308 can selectively cover or expose the third through-hole 307, so that the opening and closing assembly is opened or closed. Specifically, an elastic element 312 is disposed between the movable element 308 and the bottom wall of the fixed element 305, the elastic element 312 uses the elastic force of the elastic element to make the movable element 308 press the fixed element 305 to cover the third overflow hole 307, the second flow channel is in a closed state, when the pressure of the oil flow is greater than the elastic force of the elastic element 312, the elastic element 312 contracts, the movable element 308 moves downward together with the elastic element 312 under the action of the pressure, so that a gap is generated between the movable element 308 and the convex closure ring 306, the third overflow hole 307 is opened, and the second flow channel is opened.
When the medium sequentially flowing through the oil inlet hole 102 and the first overflow hole 311 reaches the third overflow hole 307, after the oil pressure reaches a set value, the elastic force of the elastic piece 312 is overcome, the movable piece 308 moves downwards to enable a gap to be generated between the movable piece 308 and the fixed piece 305, and the oil flows into each lubrication point through the third overflow hole 307, the second overflow hole 309 and/or the fourth overflow hole 313 and flows into each lubrication point through the oil filter mounting seat channel 6, so that a safety protection effect is achieved.
