技术领域

背景技术
基于宽带码分多址(WCDMA)无线接入技术的第三代合作项目(3GPP)移动通信系统在全世界广泛地推广。可被定义为WCDMA的第一演化阶段的高速下行链路分组接入(HSDPA)在中期未来给3GPP提供了具有高度竞争性的无线接入技术。但是,由于用户和服务提供者的需求和期望持续增高,并且竞争性无线接入技术的开发正在持续进行,所以要求3GPP的新技术革新,以保证在将来具有竞争性。降低每比特成本、提高服务可用性、频带的灵活使用、简单的结构和开放的接口、用户设备(UE)恰当的功率消耗等等都被定义为需求。
通常,在基站(BS)的覆盖范围内存在一个或多个小区。一个小区可以包括多个UE。UE通常经历随机接入过程以访问网络。该随机接入过程是由UE为了以下目的而执行的:(1)初始接入;(2)切换;(3)调度请求;和(4)定时同步。但是,这仅仅是为了示范的目的,因此,用于执行随机接入过程的目的的内容或者数目可以取决于系统而改变。
该随机接入过程可以被划分为基于竞争(contention)的随机接入过程和基于非竞争(non-contention)的随机接入过程。这两个随机接入过程之间的主要差别在于随机接入前同步信号(preamble)是否被专用地分配给一个UE。在基于非竞争的接入过程中,由于UE仅仅使用被专用地分配给该UE的随机接入前同步信号,所以不会发生与另一个UE的竞争(或者冲突)。当两个或更多个UE经由相同的资源通过使用相同的随机接入前同步信号而尝试随机接入过程的时候,会发生竞争。在基于竞争的随机接入过程中,由于由UE使用的随机接入前同步信号是随机地选择的,所以存在竞争的可能性。
在基于正交频分多路复用(OFDM)的无线通信系统中,UE和BS之间的定时同步是重要的,以使得将用户之间的干扰减到最小。为上行链路同步执行随机接入过程。当执行随机接入过程时,按照从BS传送的时间对准值(time alignment value)来对UE进行时间同步。当实现上行链路同步的时候,该UE运行时间对准定时器。如果时间对准定时器正在运行,就认为UE和BS彼此是上行链路同步的。如果时间对准定时器期满或者没有在运行,就认为UE和BS不是彼此同步的。在这种情况下,除了随机接入前同步信号的传输之外,不能实现上行链路传输。
由于总是存在竞争的可能性,所以在基于竞争的随机接入过程中可能出现随机接入失败。因此,需要一种用于执行由随机接入失败所引起的上行链路同步的方法。
发明内容
技术问题
本发明提供一种在无线通信系统中当执行基于竞争的随机接入过程时执行上行链路同步的方法。
本发明还提供一种在无线通信系统中避免由于错误的上行链路同步而引起对其它用户设备的干扰的方法。
技术方案
在一个方面中,提供了一种在无线通信系统中执行上行链路同步的方法。该方法包括:发送从一组随机接入前同步信号中随机选择出来的随机接入前同步信号,接收随机接入响应,该随机接入响应包括对应于随机接入前同步信号的随机接入前同步信号标识符和用于上行链路同步的时间对准值,在应用时间对准值之后,起动时间对准定时器,在接收到随机接入响应之后,起动竞争解决定时器(contentionresolution timer),其中当竞争解决定时器期满的时候,竞争解决是不成功的,以及当竞争解决定时器期满的时候,停止时间对准定时器。
该方法可以进一步包括:发送调度消息(scheduled message),该调度消息包括唯一标识符,以及当接收到竞争解决消息的时候,停止竞争解决定时器,该竞争解决消息包括对应于该唯一标识符的标识符。当发送该调度消息的时候,可以起动竞争解决定时器。
在另一个方面中,提供了一种在无线通信系统中执行上行链路同步的方法。该方法包括:发送从一组随机接入前同步信号中随机选择出来的随机接入前同步信号,接收随机接入响应,该随机接入响应包括对应于该随机接入前同步信号的随机接入前同步信号标识符,在接收到随机接入响应之后,起动时间对准定时器,以及当竞争解决不成功的时候,停止时间对准定时器。
有益效果

具体实施方式
图1示出无线通信系统的结构。该无线通信系统可以具有演进的通用移动电信系统(E-UMTS)的网络结构。E-UMTS可以被称作长期演进(LTE)系统。该无线通信系统可以被广泛地采用以提供诸如语音、分组数据等等各种各样的通信服务。
参考图1,演进的UMTS地面无线接入网络(E-UTRAN)包括至少一个基站(BS)20,该基站提供控制平面和用户平面。
用户设备(UE)10可以是固定或者移动的,并且可以被称为其它术语,诸如移动站(MS)、用户终端(UT)、订户站(SS)、无线设备等等。BS 20通常是固定站,其与UE 10通信,并且可以被称为其它术语,诸如演进的节点B(eNB)、基站收发信系统(BTS)、接入点等等。在BS 20的覆盖范围内存在一个或多个小区。可以在BS 20之间使用用于传送用户业务或者控制业务的接口。在下文中,下行链路被定义为从BS 20到UE 10的通信链路,上行链路被定义为从UE 10到BS 20的通信链路。
BS 20借助于X2接口而相互连接。BS 20还借助于S1接口而连接到演进的分组核心(EPC),更具体地说,连接到移动性管理实体(MME)/服务网关(S-GW)30。S1接口支持BS 20和MME/S-GW 30之间的多对多关系。

S-GW执行以下的功能:(1)用于寻呼的用户平面分组的终止;和(2)用于支持UE移动性的用户平面交换。
图3是示出UE的构成元件的方框图。UE 50包括处理器51、存储器52、射频(RF)单元53、显示单元54和用户接口单元55。在处理器51中实现无线接口协议的层。该处理器51提供控制平面和用户平面。可以在处理器51中实现每个层的功能。存储器52耦合到处理器51,并且存储操作系统、应用程序和通用文件。显示单元54显示UE 50的各种信息,并且可以使用公知的元件,诸如液晶显示装置(LCD)、有机发光二极管(OLED)等等。用户接口单元55可以被配置以公知的用户接口,诸如小键盘、触摸屏等等的组合。RF单元53耦合到处理器51,并且传送和/或接收无线信号。

参考图4和5,PHY层属于第一层,并且其经由物理信道给上层提供信息传输服务。该PHY层经由传输信道与媒体访问控制(MAC)层,即,PHY层的上层相连接。数据经由传输信道在MAC层和PHY层之间传送。在不同的PHY层(即,发射机的PHY层和接收机的PHY层)之间,数据经由物理信道传送。可以以正交频分复用(OFDM)来调制该PHY层。时间和/或频率可以用作为无线资源。

分组数据汇聚协议(PDCP)层属于第二层,并且其执行头部压缩功能。当传送IP分组,诸如IPv4分组或者IPv6分组的时候,IP分组的头部可包含相对大且不必要的控制信息。该PDCP层减小IP分组的头部大小,以便有效地传送IP分组。
无线资源控制(RRC)层属于第三层,并且其仅仅被定义在控制平面中。该RRC层用来控制逻辑信道、传输信道和物理信道,以及无线载体(RB)的配置、重新配置和释放。RB是由第二层提供的用于UE和E-UTRAN之间数据传输的服务。当在UE的RRC层和网络的RRC层之间建立了RRC连接的时候,称为该UE处于RRC连接模式。当还没有建立RRC连接的时候,称为该UE处于RRC空闲模式。
非接入层(NAS)层属于RRC层的上层,并且其用来执行会话管理和移动性管理。
下行链路传输信道是数据经由其从网络传送到UE的信道。下行链路传输信道的例子包括用于传送系统信息的广播信道(BCH),和用于传送用户业务或者控制消息的下行链路共享信道(DL-SCH)。下行链路多播(或者广播)服务的用户业务或者控制消息可以在DL-SCH上或者下行链路多播信道(MCH)上传送。上行链路传输信道是数据经由其从UE传送到网络的信道。上行链路传输信道的例子包括用于传送初始控制消息的随机接入信道(RACH),和用于传送用户业务或者控制消息的上行链路共享信道(UL-SCH)。

首先,在UE和BS之间无论是否实现上行链路同步的状态下,该UE将随机选择的随机接入前同步信号传送给BS,并且接收对于该随机接入前同步信号的随机接入响应。即使出现竞争,该UE也可以接收该随机接入响应。在这种情况下,由于该UE不能知道竞争的出现,所以该UE将包括在接收到的随机接入响应中的时间对准值应用于该UE本身,并且起动时间对准定时器。随后,该UE将包括UE的唯一标识符的调度消息传送给BS,并且起动竞争解决定时器。如果在该竞争解决定时器期满之前,UE没有接收到由UE的唯一标识符所标定的竞争解决消息,则该UE重试随机接入过程。但是,由于时间对准定时器持续地运行,所以当BS传送下行链路数据的时候,该UE可以传送上行链路数据。这是因为,甚至在没有实现上行链路同步的情形下,UE也通过当前正在运行的时间对准定时器而确定实现了上行链路同步。错误的上行链路同步可能导致在传输期间对其它用户的干扰。
图7是示出按照本发明一个实施例执行上行链路同步的方法的流程图。首先,UE处于时间对准定时器期满或者没有运行的状态。这是这样一种情形,即,当UE尝试初始网络进入的时候,或者当由于无线链路失败而引起再次搜索小区的时候,基于竞争的随机接入过程起动。
参考图7,在步骤S210中,该UE将随机选择的随机接入前同步信号传送给BS。在步骤S220中,响应于该随机接入前同步信号,该BS将随机接入响应传送给UE。该随机接入响应包括上行链路无线资源分配信息、随机接入前同步信号标识符、时间对准值和临时的C-RNTI。在步骤S230中,该UE应用包括在该随机接入响应中的时间对准值,并且起动时间对准定时器。
在步骤S240中,通过包括在该随机接入响应中的上行链路无线资源分配信息,该UE将包括UE的唯一标识符的调度消息传送给BS。在步骤S250中,该UE传送调度消息,并然后起动竞争解决定时器。
在步骤S260,如果在竞争解决定时器期满之前,UE没有接收到包括UE的唯一标识符的竞争解决消息,则该UE停止时间对准定时器。在这种情况下,该UE可以确定竞争是不成功的,并且因此重试随机接入过程。
如果出现随机接入失败,则该UE停止先前运行的时间对准定时器。这是因为先前接收到的时间对准值可用于另一个UE。因此,由于时间对准定时器被停止,所以防止上行链路传输使用错误的时间对准值。
图8是示出按照本发明另一个实施例执行上行链路同步的方法的流程图。
参考图8,在步骤S310,UE将随机选择的随机接入前同步信号传送给BS。在步骤S320中,响应于该随机接入前同步信号,该BS将随机接入响应传送给UE。该随机接入响应包括时间对准值和临时的C-RNTI。在步骤S330中,该UE应用时间对准值,并且起动时间对准定时器。在步骤S340中,该UE通过包括在随机接入响应中的上行链路无线资源分配信息将包括UE的唯一标识符的调度消息传送给BS。在步骤S350中,在传送调度消息之后,UE起动竞争解决定时器。
在步骤S360中,在竞争解决定时器期满之前,该UE接收由PDCCH指示的竞争解决消息,该PDCCH由临时的C-RNTI标定。竞争解决消息包括竞争解决标识符。在步骤S370中,该UE通过竞争解决标识符来确定竞争是否成功。例如,该竞争解决标识符可与包括在调度消息中的标识符相比较。如果两个标识符不相同,则确定竞争不成功。
在步骤S380中,如果确定竞争不成功,则该UE停止时间对准定时器。在这种情况下,该UE可以重试随机接入过程,或者可以向上层报告竞争不成功。
如果在随机接入过程中竞争不成功,则该UE停止当前运行的时间对准定时器。因此,可以解决甚至在没有实现上行链路同步时,时间对准定时器也持续运行的问题。
与在此处公开的实施例相结合地描述的方法的步骤可以通过硬件、软件或者其组合来实现。硬件可以通过设计为执行以上功能的专用集成电路(ASIC)、数字信号处理(DSP)、可编程序逻辑器件(PLD)、现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)、处理器、控制器、微处理器、其它的电子单元或者其组合来实现。用于执行以上功能的模块可以实现软件。软件可以被存储在存储单元中,并且由处理器执行。存储单元或者处理器可以采用对本领域技术人员公知的各种装置。
由于本发明可以以若干形式实施而不脱离其精神或者基本特性,所以应该明白,除非另作说明,否则以上描述的实施例不受上文描述的任何细节的限制,而是应该在所附权利要求所限定的精神和范围之内做广泛的解释。因此,落在权利要求的边界,或者这样的边界的等价物以内的所有变化和改进,都意欲被所附权利要求所包含。
Claims (7)
1.一种在无线通信系统中执行上行链路同步的方法,该方法由用户设备UE执行并且包括:
由所述UE向网络发送随机接入前同步信号;
由所述UE从所述网络接收随机接入响应,该随机接入响应包括临时UE标识符和用于同所述网络的上行链路同步的时间对准值;
响应所述时间对准值的接收,起动所述UE中的时间对准定时器;
由所述UE确定所述UE和所述网络之间的竞争解决是否成功;和
当竞争解决不成功,则停止所述时间对准定时器。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其中当竞争解决定时器期满的时候,竞争解决不成功。
3.根据权利要求2的方法,其中在接收到所述随机接入响应之后,起动该竞争解决定时器。
4.根据权利要求1的方法,进一步包括:
在接收到所述随机接入响应之后,发送调度消息,该调度消息包括唯一标识符。
5.根据权利要求4的方法,其中当没有接收到竞争解决消息的时候,竞争解决不成功,该竞争解决消息包括对应于所述唯一标识符的竞争解决标识符。
6.根据权利要求5的方法,进一步包括:
当发送所述调度消息的时候,起动竞争解决定时器,
其中,当在所述竞争解决定时器期满之前没有接收到竞争解决消息,则竞争解决不成功。
7.根据权利要求5的方法,进一步包括:
当发送所述调度消息的时候,起动竞争解决定时器,
其中,当在所述竞争解决定时器期满之前由物理下行链路控制信道(PDCCH)所指示的竞争解决消息包括与所述唯一标识符不相匹配的竞争解决标识符,则竞争解决不成功,该物理下行链路控制信道(PDCCH)由所述随机接入响应中所包括的临时的小区无线网络临时标识所标定。
