Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to information acquisition technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for a CS (Circuit Switched) domain control network element to acquire information of a PS (Packet Switched) domain control network element.
Background
With the development of mobile communication technology and the evolution of core networks, 2G/3G networks have emerged and gradually evolved to 4G networks. Both 2G/3G and 4G networks will coexist for a period of time. Generally speaking, there are two types of circuit switched services and packet switched services in the existing network, and accordingly, the control network elements of the core network are also divided into two types, namely CS domain control network elements and PS domain control network elements.
The background network related by the invention is a mobile communication network which is composed of a base station subsystem, a CS domain control network element, a PS domain control network element and the like. Fig. 1 shows a schematic architecture diagram of a background network, and various network elements in the background network are described as follows:
the terminal 101: such as a UE (User Equipment). The terminal is responsible for interaction with the user; and can access the network through different access modes such as PS/CS, etc., to replace the user to establish the session.
Base station subsystem 102: such as a Base Station subsystem including a BSC (Base Station Controller) and a BTS (Base Transceiver Station), or a Base Station subsystem including an RNC (Radio network Controller) and a Node B (Node B).
CS domain controlling network element 103: a control unit of the CS domain core network, such as an MSC (mobile switching center), or an MSCServer (mobile switching center server), etc.
PS domain controlling network element 104: a control unit of the PS domain core network, such as an SGSN (Serving GPRS support node), an MME (Mobile Management Entity), or the like.
The terminal can be accessed to the CS domain to establish a channel with the CS domain control network element, and can also be accessed to the PS domain to establish a channel with the PS domain control network element. In addition, the terminal may establish a connection with the CS domain or the PS domain, respectively, or may establish a connection with the CS domain and the PS domain simultaneously.
In some scenarios, the CS domain controlling network element needs to acquire information of the PS domain controlling network element. The information of the PS domain controlling network element may be information for directly positioning the PS domain controlling network element, such as a number, an address, or an identifier of the PS domain controlling network element, or may be information for indirectly positioning the PS domain controlling network element, such as index information of the PS domain controlling network element, or any combination of the above information. For example, the information of the PS domain controlling network element may be: the address, name, Identity, P-TMSI (packet Temporary mobile subscriber Identity), TLLI (Temporary Logical Link Identity), GUTI (global Unique Temporary subscriber Identity), or GUMMEI (global Unique MME Identity) of the PS domain controlling network element.
In the prior art, a CS domain control network element queries an HSS/HLR (home subscriber server/home location register) to obtain information of a PS domain control network element. As shown in fig. 2, a process of acquiring information of a PS domain control network element by a CS domain control network element in the prior art includes:
step 201, the PS domain control network element reports its own information to the HSS/HLR.
Step 202, the HSS/HLR stores the received information of the PS domain control network element.
In step 203, the HSS/HLR returns a response message to the PS domain control network element.
Step 204, when the information of the PS domain control network element changes, the PS domain control network element reports the latest information of the PS domain control network element to the HSS/HLR.
Step 205, the HSS/HLR updates the information of the PS domain control network element.
In step 206, the HSS/HLR returns a response message to the PS domain control network element.
Step 207, the CS domain controlling network element queries the information of the PS domain controlling network element from the HSS/HLR.
And step 208, the HSS/HLR returns the query result carrying the information of the PS domain control network element to the CS domain control network element.
In the existing protocol, the HSS/HLR does not support to notify the CS domain control network element of the information of the PS domain control network element, so in order to apply the procedure shown in fig. 2, the prior art needs to modify the HSS/HLR, and modify the query message between the HSS/HLR and the CS domain control network element so that the query message can carry the information of the PS domain control network element, thereby implementing that the HSS/HLR notifies the CS domain control network element of the information of the PS domain control network element in the query process. In addition, when the CS domain controlling network element serving the terminal is far away from the HSS/HLR, if the CS domain controlling network element obtains the information of the PS domain controlling network element according to the flow shown in fig. 2, the performance of the service processing may be affected.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a method and a system for a CS domain control network element to obtain information of a PS domain control network element, which can not modify an HSS/HLR and a query message between the HSS/HLR and the CS domain control network element.

Step 302, the base station subsystem sends a wireless connection establishment response message to the terminal, allowing the establishment of the wireless connection.
Step 303, the terminal sends a wireless connection establishment completion message to the base station subsystem;
and at this point, the wireless connection between the terminal and the base station subsystem is established.
In step 304, the terminal sends an attach request message to the base station subsystem requesting attachment to the PS network.
Step 305, the base station subsystem selects a PS domain control network element serving the terminal, establishes a connection channel between the base station subsystem and the PS domain control network element, and in this process, the base station subsystem obtains information of the PS domain control network element. This is prior art and, for brevity, will not be described again.
Step 306, the base station subsystem forwards the attach request message to the PS domain control network element.
Step 307, continue the PS domain attach process, which is prior art and is not described herein for brevity.
Step 308, the base station subsystem sends an attach accept message to the terminal, where the attach accept message carries information of the PS domain control network element.

Step 309, the terminal sends an attach complete message to the base station subsystem.
So far, the attachment process of the PS domain is completed, the base station subsystem obtains the information of the PS domain control network element in the process of selecting the PS domain control network element, and the terminal also obtains the information of the PS domain control network element.
In some scenarios, after the base station subsystem obtains the information of the selected PS domain control network element in the process of selecting the PS domain control network element serving the terminal, the obtained information of the PS domain control network element may be sent to the CS domain control network element.
