Description

Transmission assembly of photosensitive drum
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a photosensitive drum for a printer, and more particularly to a transmission assembly for a photosensitive drum.
Background
Please refer to U.S. patent No. 7885575, which discloses a transmission assembly of a photosensitive drum, wherein a transmission rod is disposed in a cylindrical housing through a ball and a pin, such that the transmission rod can swing in various directions relative to the housing but cannot rotate, and a cover is fixed to one end of the housing, such that the transmission rod can only move axially in a small distance. Thus, the transmission rod can be driven by a driving shaft in a printer to rotate, so that a photosensitive drum fixedly connected with the shell rotates.
When the photosensitive drum is damaged, by using the method provided by the aforementioned patent, a user can take out the transmission rod, the ball body and the bolt together from the housing and install the transmission rod into the housing fixedly arranged on the new photosensitive drum; however, the removal and installation operations described above are difficult to perform in practice.
In fact, because of the problem of difficult installation, before the photosensitive drum leaves factory, the assembly personnel firstly assemble the whole transmission assembly and then fix the shell to the photosensitive drum, but the installation position and the swinging characteristic of the transmission rod make the fixing action not easy to be executed.
In other words, the transmission assembly of the prior art photosensitive drum has a problem of being difficult to install or disassemble when the photosensitive drum is first installed on the photosensitive drum or when a user is allowed to replace the photosensitive drum with a new one, and thus, the transmission assembly of the prior art photosensitive drum still needs to be improved.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above-mentioned disadvantages, it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a transmission assembly for a photosensitive drum, which can effectively improve the disadvantages of the transmission assembly of the conventional photosensitive drum.
To achieve the above object, the driving assembly of the photosensitive drum provided by the present invention comprises a housing, a coupling member, and a driving rod. The shell is provided with a bottom and an opening which are opposite, an inner surface positioned between the opening and the bottom, two convex blocks protruding out of the inner surface, and at least one convex rib positioned at the bottom, wherein each convex block is provided with a bottom surface facing the bottom. The connector has a first end and a second end opposite to each other, a channel extending from the first end to the second end, an inner wall surface in the channel, a limiting groove recessed from the inner wall surface, two hooks protruding outward, at least one clamping groove recessed from the first end to the second end, and a limiting portion in the channel, wherein the limiting groove has an inlet at the first end, the connector is detachably disposed in the housing, the first end of the connector faces the bottom of the housing, the two hooks are respectively clamped on the bottom surfaces of the two lugs of the housing, and the clamping groove is clamped with the rib of the housing. The transmission rod is provided with a first end part arranged in the channel of the combining piece, a second end part protruding out of the second end of the combining piece and at least one protruding part protruding out of the first end part, the first end part is limited between the limiting part of the combining piece and the bottom of the shell, and the protruding part is positioned in the limiting groove of the combining piece.
Therefore, the second end of the transmission rod can be driven to rotate by a driving shaft in a printer so as to drive the combining piece and the shell to rotate and further drive a photosensitive drum fixedly connected with the shell to rotate. The assembly mode of the photosensitive drum using the transmission assembly is that the transmission rod and the combining piece are combined with each other, the shell is fixedly arranged on the photosensitive drum, then the combining piece is combined with the shell, and the transmission assembly can be easily combined or separated with the shell by an assembling person or a user. Therefore, the transmission assembly has no problem of difficult installation or disassembly no matter the transmission assembly is installed on the photosensitive drum for the first time or the transmission rod and the combination piece are replaced by a new photosensitive drum and a new shell by a user.

FIG. 15 is a side view of a housing according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the driving assembly 10 of the photosensitive drum of the present invention includes a housing 20, a connecting member 30, and a driving rod 40.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the housing 20 has a bottom 22 and an opening 24 opposite to each other, an inner surface 26 located between the opening 24 and the bottom 22, a supporting portion 27 located at the center of the bottom 22, and two protrusions 28 protruding from the inner surface 26. The bottom 22 has four ribs 222, and the ribs 222 are equidistantly and radially distributed. Each of the protrusions 28 has a bottom surface 282 facing the bottom 22, and a guiding inclined surface 286 facing the opening 24, the guiding inclined surface 286 and the bottom surface 282 being respectively located on two sides of a top end 288 of the protrusion 28.
As shown in fig. 5 to 7, the joint 30 has a first end 31 and a second end 32 opposite to each other, a channel 33 extending from the first end 31 to the second end 32, an inner wall surface 34 located in the channel 33, an outer wall surface 35 opposite to the inner wall surface 34, four engaging grooves 36 recessed from the first end 31 toward the second end 32 and opened on the inner wall surface 34, two limiting grooves 37 recessed from the inner wall surface 34, two limiting portions 38 located in the channel 33 and separated by the two limiting grooves 37, and two elastic portions 39 extending from the second end 32 toward the first end 31 and inclined outward, and the ends of the two elastic portions 39 respectively have an outwardly protruding engaging hook 392.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the transmission rod 40 includes a body 41, a hollow sphere 42, and a rod 43. The main body 41 is first inserted through the channel 33 of the connector 30 at one end thereof and then sleeved with the ball 42 to form a spherical first end 44, the rod 43 is then inserted through the main body 41 and the ball 42 to combine the two, and two ends of the rod 43 form two protrusions 46 extending from the first end 44 in two opposite directions. Wherein the first end portion 44 is located in the channel 33, and the two protruding portions 46 respectively extend into the two limiting grooves 37. The driving rod 40 also has a second end 48 located at the body 41 and protruding out of the second end 32 of the engaging member 30.
The position-limiting portion 38 of the engaging member 30 is used to prevent the first end portion 44 of the transmission rod 40 from separating from the second end 32 of the channel 33. In the embodiment, the limiting portions 38 of the engaging member 30 are close to the second end 32 and integrally protrude from the inner wall surface 34, and each limiting portion 38 has a limiting inclined surface 382 (as shown in fig. 7) inclined inward from the joint with the inner wall surface 34 toward the second end 32. As shown in fig. 6 to 8, each of the limiting grooves 37 has an inlet 372 at the first end 31 for the protrusion 46 of the driving rod 40 to enter, and each of the limiting grooves 37 penetrates through the inner wall surface 34 and the outer wall surface 35, so that each of the protrusions 46 can more easily enter the limiting groove 37. However, the shape of each of the position-limiting portions 38 is not limited thereto, and each of the position-limiting grooves 37 may not penetrate the outer wall surface 35.
In addition, each of the position-limiting portions 38 may not be integrally formed with the connecting member 30, but may be formed by a position-limiting member (not shown) disposed at the second end 32 of the connecting member 30, and the transmission rod 40 may also be integrally formed.
As shown in fig. 2, the connector 30 is first coupled to the transmission rod 40, and then the first end 31 of the connector is disposed in the housing 20 toward the bottom 22 of the housing 20, and the housing 20 is fixed to one end of a photosensitive drum (not shown). During the process of combining the connector 30 with the housing 20, the two elastic portions 39 move along the guiding inclined planes 286 of the two protrusions 28, and swing inward under the force, until the two hooks 392 are engaged with the bottom surfaces 282 of the two protrusions 28 (as shown in fig. 10), and the engaging grooves 36 are engaged with the protruding ribs 222. In this way, the engaging member 30 is fixed to the housing 20, and the first end 44 of the transmission rod 40 is limited between the limiting portion 38 and the bottom portion 22, so that the transmission rod 40 can only move axially within a small distance, and the transmission rod 40 can only rotate within a small angle range because the protrusion 46 is limited by the limiting groove 37. Thus, the second end 48 of the transmission rod 40 is driven by a driving shaft (not shown) in the printer to rotate, so as to drive the engaging member 30, the housing 20 and the photosensitive drum to rotate. The guide ramp 286 may be eliminated as desired.
Before the photosensitive drum using the transmission assembly 10 provided by the present invention is shipped, the assembly personnel can fix the housing 20 to the photosensitive drum independently, which is easy to achieve because the assembly personnel is not hindered by the transmission rod 40. Moreover, the manufacturer can provide the photosensitive drum and the housing 20 fixed to each other, so that the user can remove the old fastener 30 and the transmission rod 40 and install the new housing 20. The assembling person or user can easily combine the housing 20 and the combining member 30 by inserting the combining member 30 into the housing 20 with the elastic portion 39 thereof aligned with the protrusion 28 of the housing 20. In addition, the user only needs to pull the transmission rod 40 outward, so that the elastic portion 39 of the engaging member 30 is forced to swing inward in an elastically deformed manner, and the two hooks 392 are separated from the two protrusions 28. In other words, the transmission assembly 10 does not have the problem of being difficult to install or to remove, either when first installed on a photoreceptor drum or when the user replaces the transmission rod 40 and the coupler 30 with a new photoreceptor drum and housing 20.
In the first preferred embodiment, the engaging member 30 is elastically deformable and inwardly swung by the elastic portion 39 to achieve the effect of engaging with and disengaging from the housing 20, however, the engaging manner of the engaging member 30 and the housing 20 is not limited thereto.
For example, referring to fig. 11, in the transmission assembly of the photosensitive drum according to the second preferred embodiment of the present invention, the hook 392 of the engaging member 30 is fixed, the housing 20 has two elastic portions 29, the two protrusions 28 of the housing 20 for engaging with the hook 392 are respectively located at the inner edges of the two elastic portions 29 (as shown in fig. 12), and the two elastic portions 29 can be forced to elastically deform and swing outwards, so that the two hook 392 and the two protrusions 28 can be engaged with and disengaged from each other.
In the first preferred embodiment, the rib 222 of the housing 20 is connected to an outer peripheral surface 272 of the supporting portion 27 (as shown in fig. 3), but does not extend to the inner surface 26, and the engaging groove 36 of the engaging member 30 is disposed on the inner wall surface 34, but does not penetrate the outer wall surface 35 (as shown in fig. 5). However, as shown in fig. 11 to 13, the rib 222 of the housing 20 may extend from the outer peripheral surface 272 of the supporting portion 27 to the inner surface 26, and the engaging groove 36 of the engaging member 30 may penetrate the inner wall surface 34 and the outer wall surface 35. The support portion 27 may not be provided.
Alternatively, as shown in fig. 14 and 15, in a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rib 222 of the housing 20 may be connected to the inner surface 26 and not extend to the outer peripheral surface 272 of the supporting portion 27, and the engaging groove 36 of the engaging member 30 may be disposed on the outer wall surface 35 and not penetrate through the inner wall surface 34. Moreover, the housing 20 and the connecting member 30 can have only two protruding ribs 222 and two engaging grooves 36, and in fact, the housing 20 and the connecting member 30 only have at least one protruding rib 222 and at least one engaging groove 36.
Finally, it should be noted that the components disclosed in the above embodiments are merely exemplary and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure, and other equivalent components may be substituted or modified within the scope of the present disclosure.
The present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, and it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be effected therein by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
