Because the deformation part is tubular, the thickness is thin, the material is light, the length is long, and the two ends of the deformation part are taper pipes, the two ends of the deformation part are easy to be turned over outwards under the oppression of the nail core head, the middle part is easy to be deformed outwards, and then a drum-shaped structure with the outer diameter larger than the nail core head is formed. This makes this drum type annular groove rivet can rivet the work piece that connecting hole aperture is greater than its core head diameter, and need not adopt the rivet that has great core head to rivet. In specific implementation, the nail body pipe is made of a circular straight pipe. When the deformed part of the nail body tube is completely bulged, the nail core head can continuously move for a certain distance under the pulling of the riveter, so that the deformed part of the drum-shaped structure presses the workpiece on the nail body head. In the process, the nail head can enter the gun mouth of the riveter under the action of the riveter, a structural body with the surface consistent with the cavity of the gun mouth of the riveter is formed under the action of pressure, and meanwhile, the whole body is compressed inwards and pressed into the first locking teeth, so that the locking between the nail head and the nail core rod is completed. After the nail head and the nail core rod are locked, the acting force of the riveting gun on the nail core rod is concentrated at the fracture groove of the nail core rod, so that the nail core rod is fractured at the fracture groove, and the riveting operation on the workpiece is finally completed.
From the above description, it can be seen that the drum-shaped ring groove rivet realizes riveting of a workpiece through the drum-shaped deformation part after the drum is formed and the rivet body head, so that an operator can realize riveting of a large-aperture connecting hole without replacing the rivet with the large-diameter rivet core head, impact and damage of the rivet core head to a thinner workpiece can be prevented, and the requirement of light weight in automobile manufacturing is met.
Preferably, in the drum-shaped ring groove rivet of the present embodiment, the second locking teeth 17 are provided on the circumferential surface of the fixing ring.
The fixing ring with the second locking teeth on the circumferential surface enables the top end of the nail body tube deformation part to be locked with the fixing ring, so that the top end of the nail body tube is prevented from falling off from the nail core rod.
Preferably, in the drum-shaped annular groove rivet of the present embodiment, the bottom end of the shank head is a conical pipe with a gradually decreasing outer diameter.
The bottom end of the nail body head is set to be the taper pipe, so that the nail body head is easier to enter a cavity of a riveter gun nozzle under the compression of the nail core head, and the inner wall of the nail body head is forced to be pressed into the locking teeth of the nail core rod.
