竹卵圆蝽,学名Hippotiscus dorsalis(Stal),属半翅目蝽科。分布于我国浙江、福建、江西等亚热度带竹类植物生长区,主要危害毛竹、黄枯竹、淡竹等。以成、若虫在竹子主秆节上下群集吸取汁液。危害严重时,竹子上出现大量枯枝或全株死亡,1年1代,10月底到11月上旬,多以4龄若虫在寄食附近地表寻找越冬场所,翌年4月上、中旬越冬若虫开始活动取食,其飞翔能力较弱,有弱趋光性、趋味性。Bamboo oval stinkbug, scientific name Hippotiscus dorsalis (Stal), belongs to Hemiptera stinkbug family.
