Abstract
The invention discloses a housing assembly and an electronic product. The housing assembly comprises a housing, a rotating ring, a plurality of first key grooves, a plurality of second key grooves and a positioning ring, wherein the mounting hole is formed in the housing, the first key grooves are uniformly distributed on the inner wall of the outer port of the mounting hole at intervals along the circumferential direction, the rotating ring is connected into the mounting hole in a threaded mode, the plurality of second key grooves corresponding to the first key grooves respectively are formed on the outer wall of the end portion of the rotating ring, and the positioning ring is provided with positioning keys. The rotatable ring is rotatable relative to the housing to a plurality of different combined orientations, at any one of which the plurality of first keyways and the plurality of second keyways are respectively radially aligned to form a plurality of combined keyways, the locating key being fitted into the combined keyways for securing the rotatable ring in a certain combined orientation. In the invention, the angle of the connector piece can be adjusted by rotating the rotary ring, so that the application range of the electronic product is enlarged.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a housing assembly and an electronic product comprising the same.
Background
In the prior art, sensors typically include a housing, electronics, cables, and cable output connectors. The electronic component is mounted in the housing. The cable is electrically connected with the electronic component. A mounting hole is formed in the housing, and a cable output connector is screwed into the mounting hole, and the cable is led out of the housing via the cable output connector.
In the prior art, after the cable output connector is screwed to the housing, the angle of the cable output connector with respect to the housing is fixed and cannot be adjusted as required, which makes its use limited.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the above-mentioned problems and disadvantages of the prior art.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a housing assembly including a housing formed with a mounting hole having a plurality of first key grooves formed on an inner wall of an outer port of the mounting hole at regular intervals in a circumferential direction, a rotating ring screw-coupled into the mounting hole and having a plurality of second key grooves formed on an outer wall of an end portion thereof corresponding to the plurality of first key grooves, respectively, and a positioning ring having a positioning key formed thereon. The rotatable ring is rotatable relative to the housing to a plurality of different combined orientations, at any one of which the plurality of first keyways and the plurality of second keyways are respectively radially aligned to form a plurality of combined keyways, the locating key being fitted into the combined keyways for securing the rotatable ring in a certain combined orientation.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the housing assembly further comprises a joint member having one end penetrating the positioning ring and being screwed to the rotating ring such that the angle of the joint member with respect to the housing can be adjusted by rotating the rotating ring.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the joint member is adjusted to different angles when the rotating ring is rotated to different combined orientations.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the joint member has a cable passage allowing the cable to pass therethrough, so that the cable can be led out to the outside of the housing via the joint member.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the joint member is an L-shaped right angle joint member.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of positioning keys are formed on an end surface of the positioning ring, the plurality of positioning keys being circumferentially spaced apart, each positioning key being adapted to fit into any one of the combination key grooves.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the number of first key grooves on the housing is equal to the number of second key grooves on the rotating ring, and the number of positioning keys on the positioning ring is equal to or less than the number of first key grooves on the housing.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an internal thread is formed on an inner wall of the mounting hole, and an external thread is formed on an outer wall of the rotating ring, the external thread on the rotating ring being engaged with the internal thread in the mounting hole to screw the rotating ring into the mounting hole.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an internal thread is formed on an inner wall of the rotating ring, an external thread is formed on one end of the joint member, and the external thread on the joint member is engaged with the internal thread on the rotating ring to screw the joint member to the rotating ring.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the rotating ring includes a cylindrical body, the second key groove is formed on an outer wall of an outer end of the cylindrical body, an internal thread for connection with the socket is formed on an inner wall of the cylindrical body, and an external thread for connection into the mounting hole is formed on an outer wall of the cylindrical body.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a first orientation mark is formed on an outer wall surface of the housing, and a second orientation mark is formed on an outer end surface of the rotating ring, so that the rotating ring can be rotated to a predetermined combined orientation according to the first orientation mark and the second orientation mark.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the positioning ring includes an annular base plate, the positioning key is formed on a surface of one side of the annular base plate, and the housing assembly further includes a first sealing ring pressed between the annular base plate of the positioning ring and an outer wall of the housing to seal a mating interface therebetween.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when a joint member is coupled to the rotating ring, the joint member pushes the annular base plate of the positioning ring against the outer wall of the housing to press the first seal ring.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an annular positioning groove is formed on the annular base plate of the positioning ring, and the first seal ring is installed in the annular positioning groove.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the invention, the housing assembly further comprises a second sealing ring adapted to be pressed between the fitting and the annular base plate of the positioning ring for sealing the mating interface therebetween.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electronic product including the aforementioned housing assembly, an electronic component mounted in a housing of the housing assembly, and a cable electrically connected with the electronic component. The cable is led out of the housing via a connector piece of the housing assembly.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the electronic product is a sensor.
In the foregoing respective exemplary embodiments according to the present invention, the angle of the joint member can be adjusted by rotating the rotary ring, and thus, the range of application of the product is enlarged.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings, which provide a thorough understanding of the present invention.

Detailed Description
The technical scheme of the invention is further specifically described below through examples and with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the specification, the same or similar reference numerals denote the same or similar components. The following description of embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings is intended to illustrate the general inventive concept and should not be taken as limiting the invention.
Furthermore, in the following detailed description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments of the present disclosure. It may be evident, however, that one or more embodiments may be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in the drawings in order to simplify the drawings.
According to one general technical concept of the present invention, there is provided a housing assembly including a housing formed with a mounting hole, a plurality of first key grooves uniformly spaced apart in a circumferential direction formed on an inner wall of an outer port of the mounting hole, a rotating ring screw-coupled into the mounting hole and formed with a plurality of second key grooves corresponding to the plurality of first key grooves, respectively, on an outer wall of an end portion thereof, and a positioning ring formed with positioning keys thereon. The rotatable ring is rotatable relative to the housing to a plurality of different combined orientations, at any one of which the plurality of first keyways and the plurality of second keyways are respectively radially aligned to form a plurality of combined keyways, the locating key being fitted into the combined keyways for securing the rotatable ring in a certain combined orientation.
Fig. 1 shows an assembled schematic view of a housing assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 shows an exploded schematic view of a housing assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the housing assembly includes a housing 20, a rotating ring 30, and a locating ring 40. The housing 20 is formed with a mounting hole 21, and a plurality of first key grooves 22 are formed on an inner wall of an outer port of the mounting hole 21 at uniform intervals in a circumferential direction. The rotating ring 30 is screw-coupled into the mounting hole 21, and a plurality of second key grooves 32 corresponding to the plurality of first key grooves 22, respectively, are formed on the outer wall of the end portion of the rotating ring 30. At least one detent key 42 is formed on the detent ring 40.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic view of the rotary ring 30 screwed into the mounting hole 21 on the housing 20, and fig. 5 shows a schematic plan view of the rotary ring 30 and the housing 20 shown in fig. 3.
As shown in fig. 1-3 and 5, in the illustrated embodiment, the rotating ring 30 can be rotated relative to the housing 20 to a plurality of different combined orientations, at any one of which the plurality of first keyways 22 are radially aligned with the plurality of second keyways 32, respectively, to form a plurality of combined keyways 22, 32.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic view of the mounting of the positioning ring 40 to the rotating ring 30 shown in fig. 3.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, a locating key 42 is fitted into the combination keyway 22, 32 for securing the rotary ring 30 in a certain combination orientation. In the illustrated embodiment, each of the combination keyways 22, 32 includes one of the first keyways 22 and one of the second keyways 32 in radial alignment. Each of the locating keys 42 can be fitted into either of the combination key slots 22, 32.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, the housing assembly further includes a fitting 10 having one end 11 of the fitting 10 passing through the locating ring 40 and threadably coupled to the rotating ring 30 such that the angle of the fitting 10 relative to the housing 20 can be adjusted by rotating the aforementioned rotating ring 30. In the illustrated embodiment, the fitting 10 is adjusted to different angles as the swivel ring 30 is rotated to different combined orientations.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, the joint member 10 has a cable passage 12 allowing a cable (not shown) to pass therethrough, so that the cable can be led out to the outside of the housing 20 via the joint member 10.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, the fitting 10 is an L-shaped right angle fitting. The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment and the adapter member 10 may have other suitable shapes, such as a T-shape.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of positioning keys 42 are formed on the end face of the positioning ring 40, the plurality of positioning keys 42 being circumferentially spaced apart, each positioning key 42 being adapted to fit into either one of the combination key grooves 22, 32.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, the number of first keyways 22 on the housing 20 is equal to the number of second keyways 32 on the rotating ring 30. The number of different combined orientations of the rotating ring 30 is determined by the number of first keyways 22 on the housing 20 and the number of second keyways 32 on the rotating ring 30. For example, when the number of first keyways 22 on the housing 20 and the number of second keyways 32 on the rotating ring 30 are 24, the rotating ring 30 can be rotated to 24 different combined orientations with an angle between adjacent two combined orientations equal to 15 degrees.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, the number of locating keys 42 on the locating ring 40 may be equal to the number of first keyways 22 on the housing 20 or may be less than the number of first keyways 22 on the housing 20.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, an internal thread 23 is formed on the inner wall of the mounting hole 21, an external thread 33 is formed on the outer wall of the rotating ring 30, and the external thread 33 on the rotating ring 30 is engaged with the internal thread 23 in the mounting hole 21 to screw the rotating ring 30 into the mounting hole 21.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, an internal thread 34 is formed on the inner wall of the rotary ring 30, an external thread 13 is formed on one end 11 of the joint member 10, and the external thread 13 on the joint member 10 is engaged with the internal thread 34 on the rotary ring 30 to screw-couple the joint member 10 to the rotary ring 30.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, the rotary ring 30 includes a cylindrical body 31, a second key groove 32 is formed on an outer wall of an outer end of the cylindrical body 31, an internal thread 34 for connection with the socket 10 is formed on an inner wall of the cylindrical body 31, and an external thread 33 for connection into the mounting hole 21 is formed on an outer wall of the cylindrical body 31.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, a first orientation mark 20a is formed on an outer wall surface of the housing 20 and a second orientation mark 30a is formed on an outer end surface of the rotary ring 30, so that the orientation of the rotary ring 30 can be visually judged from a relative positional relationship between the first orientation mark 20a and the second orientation mark 30 a. Accordingly, the rotary ring 30 can be rotated to a predetermined combined orientation according to the first orientation mark 20a and the second orientation mark 30 a. In this way, the fitting 10 can be conveniently adjusted to a predetermined angle corresponding to a predetermined combined orientation.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, the positioning ring 40 includes an annular base plate 41, and the positioning key 42 is formed on a surface of one side of the annular base plate 41. The housing assembly further includes a first seal ring 50, the first seal ring 50 being compressed between the annular base plate 41 of the retaining ring 40 and the outer wall of the housing 20 to seal the mating interface therebetween. Thus, the waterproof and dustproof functions can be realized.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, when the joint member 10 is coupled to the rotary ring 30, the joint member 10 pushes the annular base plate 41 of the positioning ring 40 against the outer wall of the housing 20 to press the first seal ring 50.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in the illustrated embodiment, an annular positioning groove (not shown) is formed on the annular base plate 41 of the positioning ring 40, and the first seal ring 50 is mounted in the annular positioning groove.
As shown in fig. 1-5, in the illustrated embodiment, the housing assembly further includes a second sealing ring (not shown) adapted to be compressed between the fitting 10 and the annular base plate 41 of the retaining ring 40 to seal the mating interface therebetween. The second seal ring may be mounted in an annular detent on the fitting 10.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an electronic product is also disclosed. The electronic product includes the aforementioned housing assembly, an electronic component mounted in the housing 20 of the housing assembly, and a cable electrically connected to the electronic component. The cable is led out to the outside of the housing 20 via the connector piece 10 of the housing assembly.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the electronic product may be a sensor. The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments but the electronic product may be other products.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the above-described embodiments are exemplary and that modifications may be made to the embodiments described in various embodiments without structural or conceptual aspects and that these variations may be resorted to without departing from the scope of the invention.
