The composition comprises a kulang extract and a valerian root extract. The invention can synergistically increase the cell activity and reduce the expression of cell senescence genes by compounding the amaranthus extract and the valerian root extract, and has remarkable anti-aging effect. The composition is a pure plant extract, has good safety, simple preparation method and low cost, and is suitable for industrialized popularization.

The anti-aging effect of the invention is evaluated by examining the effect of the anti-aging composition on hydrogen peroxide-induced cell aging.
1. Protection effect on cell aging and death induced by hydrogen peroxide
HaCat cells were cultured in DMEM medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum (dmem+10% fbs+1% p-S) and placed in a 5% carbon dioxide incubator at 37 ℃. Compared with the molded control group, the MMP-1 gene expression amount of the molded control example 1 has significant difference (b P < 0.05), and the MMP-1 gene expression amount of the molded control example 2 has no significant difference (P > 0.05), which shows that under the dosage of 12.5 mug/mL, a single kulang extract can inhibit the MMP-1 gene expression induced by hydrogen peroxide, and a single valerian root extract can not inhibit the MMP-1 gene expression induced by hydrogen peroxide.
3. Reducing D-galactose induced expression of beta-galactosidase in HSF cells
Human skin fibroblasts, HSF, were cultured in DMEM medium (DMEM+15% FBS+1% P-S) containing 15% fetal bovine serum, and placed in a 5% carbon dioxide incubator at 37 ℃. Normal control, model and extract groups (anti-aging composition prepared in example 2) were placed in 96-well plates. After the model group and the extract group were cultured with a complete culture solution containing 20mg/mL of D-galactose for 24 hours, the extract group was dosed (12.5.
