Description

Stylus pen, control method thereof, and electronic device component

Technical Field

The present invention relates to the technical field of stylus pens, and in particular to a stylus pen and a control method thereof, and an electronic device component including the stylus pen.

Background technique

As an increasingly popular peripheral input device, a stylus pen has begun to be widely used. However, a stylus pen in a conventional technical solution generally has only a basic handwriting function. If an erasing function is required, it needs to be implemented through an undo operation.

Some styluses also realize the erasing function by operating on the display screen of a touch-controlled electronic device (such as a mobile phone or tablet computer) to switch the working state of the stylus tip. However, since both erasing and normal writing operations are completed through the stylus tip, when it is necessary to frequently switch between erasing and writing, the user needs to continuously click on the corresponding icon on the display screen of the touch-controlled electronic device (such as a mobile phone or tablet computer), which brings inconvenience to the user and greatly reduces work efficiency.

Optionally, please continue to refer to FIG. 5 . The pressing assembly 120 in this embodiment includes a pressing portion 121, a transmission member 122, and a spring 123. Among them, one end of the pressing portion 121 extends out of the first opening 111 of the housing 110, and the other end is connected to the transmission member 122. The transmission member 122 abuts against the non-touch end of the stylus tip 130. The spring 123 is sleeved on the circumference of the stylus tip 130 located in the internal structure of the housing 110, and is used to provide an elastic force for the stylus tip 130 to retract into the housing 110. Among them, the structure of the transmission member 122 may specifically include a pressure rod, a locking member, and other structures (not specifically indicated in the figure). The upper part of the pressure rod is connected to the pressing portion 121, and the lower locking member is rotatable. Only the tooth tip of the pressure rod and the locking member are partially engaged. After engagement, the guide ribs of the two members slide in the same guide groove (which may be provided on the inner side wall of the housing, not shown in the figure). When the user presses the pressing portion 121 with a finger, the pressing rod moves along the slide groove to press the locking member to move downward. When the pressing rod is disengaged from the engagement portion of the locking member, due to the action of the spring 123, the locking member will rotate an angle and slide to the other side, and the stylus tip 130 will extend out of the second opening 112 of the housing 110. Repeating this process can achieve the function of extending and retracting the stylus tip 130 into the housing. Among them, the detailed structure and working principle of the transmission member 122 can refer to the currently common press-type ballpoint pen structure. The detailed structural features of this part are within the understanding of those skilled in the art and will not be repeated here.

In addition, in some other embodiments, the pressing component 120 may also be in other structural forms, as long as it can drive the stylus tip 130 to extend or retract into the housing, and no specific limitation is made here.

Optionally, please continue to refer to FIG. 5 . The stylus in this embodiment is further provided with a sensor 160 in its housing 110. The sensor 160 is electrically connected to the controller 140. The sensor 160 is used to detect the extension state of the stylus tip 130. Specifically, the extension state of the stylus tip 130 can be indirectly detected by detecting the position of the pressing portion 121. Of course, in some other embodiments, the sensor can directly detect the extension state of the stylus tip (for example, the sensor 160 is an optical sensor that directly detects the moving position of the stylus tip 130). The detailed structural features of this part are within the scope of understanding of those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail here.

To save power consumption, only one of the stylus tip 130 and the touch electrode 150 can be in working state at the same time. They can be switched by detecting the position state (pressed state) of the pressing part 121 through the sensor 160. This method can also effectively avoid accidental touches. For example, when the user needs to turn off the stylus tip 130, the pressing part 121 can be long pressed, or it can be automatically turned off when it has not been in contact with the touch display screen of the electronic device for a long time. When the user needs to use the stylus tip 130, press the pressing part 121 to trigger wake-up.

Optionally, in order to prevent interference between the touch electrode 150 and the stylus tip 130, the touch electrode 150 and the stylus tip 130 send different signal frequencies when triggered externally. Alternatively, the problem can be solved by presenting different sensing effects at one end of the touch display screen 210 of the electronic device 200, which is not specifically limited here.

In addition, the stylus in the embodiment of the present application may further include structural features such as a battery 170 and a gravity sensor 180 electrically connected to the controller 140, wherein the battery 170 supplies power to the stylus, and the gravity sensor 180 is used to detect the cutting angle of the stylus. The detailed technical features of this part are within the scope of understanding of those skilled in the art and will not be repeated here.

The stylus provided in the embodiment of the present application has a structure of a touch electrode at the end position of the shell for extending the stylus tip, and uses a pressing component to drive the stylus tip to extend or retract into the shell.
