The cat litter is divided into two categories according to the use characteristics, namely caking cat litter and non-caking cat litter. Corn starch is often used as a binder in the preparation process of cat litter, however, starch often has the technical problems of low binding strength and poor water resistance, and the starch can not only enhance the binding force with paper fibers, but also reduce the retrogradation tendency of amylose to the minimum by adding sodium hypochlorite serving as an oxidant to oxidize hydroxyl groups in the starch molecules into carboxyl groups under the weak alkaline condition, thereby keeping the stability of viscosity, so that the prepared cat litter can rapidly absorb water and bind together when meeting urine.
Preferably, the binder is one or more of attapulgite, bentonite, sodium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, guar gum, xanthan gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, pectin, polyacrylamide, sodium alginate, hydroxypropyl starch, propylene glycol alginate, beta-cyclodextrin and sodium starch phosphate.
Preferably, the cat litter structure is a shell-core structure, the core raw materials comprise pine wood powder, volcanic ash and a binder in parts by mass, and the shell raw materials comprise starch, green tea powder, soybean fibers, a natural plant degerming agent and a binder.

(4) coating the surface of the pine powder and volcanic ash mixed particles prepared in the step (2) with a binder, and placing the mixture in the vertical mixer containing the mixed powder in the step (3) to roll and shake the mixture so as to uniformly distribute the mixed powder on the surface of the pine powder and volcanic ash mixed particles;
(5) and (5) repeating the operation of the step (4) until the mixed powder is used up.
Preferably, the ash of the volcanic ash in the step (1) is dried at 50-80 ℃, and the treated pine wood powder and the volcanic ash are placed in a crusher to be crushed into mixed powder of 100-150 meshes.
Preferably, in the preparation process of the core-shell structure cat litter, the residual materials in the step (3) are uniformly mixed and then are placed in a crusher to be crushed into 100-mesh 150-mesh mixed powder.

(1) the volcanic ash has the characteristics of porosity, large surface area, good water absorption effect and strong adsorption function, the volcanic ash and pine wood powder with the same strong water absorption function are mixed and crushed to be fully combined into a whole, the pine wood powder is dispersed in the pore structure of the volcanic ash, the cat litter prepared by taking the volcanic ash as a raw material can rapidly absorb water when meeting urine of cats and is rapidly combined into a whole under the strong adsorption action of the volcanic ash, so the technical problem that the powder becomes difficult to agglomerate after absorbing the urine when the pine is taken as the cat litter is solved, the strong adsorption action of the volcanic ash after the pine and the cat litter are mixed into a whole also greatly weakens the pine resin taste of the pine, the water absorption and agglomeration of the cat litter are improved by adding the soybean fiber and the starch, the cat litter has higher moisture absorption capacity and longer effective time, and does not have liquid water seepage, the adhesive property is good, the agglomeration is fast, in addition, the volcanic ash releases infrared rays to be beneficial to pets and human bodies, the bacteriostasis effect is good, and the deodorization effect is good.
(2) The components such as tea polyphenol, catechin and caffeine rich in the green tea can chemically react with volatile components in the pine, so that volatilization of the taste of the pine resin in the pine is further slowed, a light green tea flavor is given to the pine cat litter, and sensory evaluation of the smell of the cat litter is further improved.
(3) The cat litter with the shell-core structure is prepared by taking the volcanic ash and pine wood flour mixed material as the core structure, so that volatilization of taste of the pine wood flour is further reduced, and on the other hand, the volcanic ash and pine wood flour mixture is combined more firmly, particles are firm, and the technical problem of particle breakage caused by water absorption of the pine wood flour is avoided to the greatest extent in use.

Preparation of examples 1 to 3:
(1) steaming and boiling pine wood powder in high-temperature steam for 15min, taking out, drying volcanic ash at 50 ℃, and crushing the treated pine wood powder and volcanic ash into mixed powder of 100 meshes in a crusher;
(2) mixing binder, starch, green tea powder, soybean fiber and natural plant degerming agent, and stirring;
