As used herein, the term "and/or" includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, there is shown a maxillofacial removable wearable appliance provided by an embodiment of the present invention, which includes a mouthpiece unit 1; the mouthpiece unit 1 at least comprises a connecting part fixedly connected with the side of the teeth 4, and the connecting part comprises a labial connecting part 11 and/or a lingual connecting part 12. The maxillofacial removable appliance is provided with at least two tooth socket units 1, and the tooth socket units 1 are fixedly connected and/or elastically connected. The connecting portion of at least one mouthpiece unit 1 is adapted to snap-fit to the teeth 4. At least one mouthpiece unit 1 is hollowed out 13 at the maxillofacial area of the tooth 4.
In the above setting mode, because the tooth socket unit 1 is hollowed 13 at the maxillofacial area of the tooth 4, the upper and lower teeth can be in good contact in occlusion due to the design, so that the periodontal injury can be avoided when the tooth socket unit is used for long-term correction, and the damage to the temporomandibular joint can be avoided. In addition, the mouthpiece unit 1 of the present invention is suitable for snap-fit connection with the teeth 4, and this connection is convenient for taking off and wearing, and achieves an effect of easy cleaning. It should be noted that the buckle structure is equivalent to a bracket in a conventional fixed appliance, and the connecting part is equivalent to an arch wire of the conventional fixed appliance, so that the teeth 4 can be corrected. The working principle of the maxillofacial removable appliance is as follows: the shape of the maxillofacial removable appliance is different from the external shape of the crown, and when the maxillofacial removable appliance is worn on the tooth 4, the shape of the maxillofacial removable appliance is forcibly changed (displacement occurs), and distributed reaction force (i.e., orthodontic force) is generated to act on the tooth 4, so that the tooth 4 moves.
In particular, a fixed and/or elastic connection between the mouthpiece units 1 should be understood as: all the tooth socket units 1 are fixedly connected; the tooth socket units 1 are fixedly connected and elastically connected; the mouthpiece units 1 are all connected in an elastic manner. In this embodiment, all the fixed connections between the mouthpiece units 1 may be: the tooth socket units 1 are integrally formed. The tooth socket units 1 can be fixedly connected and elastically connected in the following way: one part of the tooth socket units 1 are integrally formed to form two sections of structures, and the two sections of structures are elastically connected through springs.
At least one tooth socket unit 1 is hollowed out 13 at the dentofacial surface of the tooth 4, and it can be understood that when the maxillofacial removable orthodontic appliance is used for deep-covering cases, the anterior tooth section can be designed into a full-wrapping structure, namely, the tooth socket unit 1 at the anterior tooth section is not hollowed out; when the dental brace is used for an open jaw case, the back tooth section can be designed into a full-wrapping structure, namely, the tooth socket and the tooth socket at the back tooth section are not hollowed out.
In a preferred embodiment, all of the mouthpiece units 1 have lingual connecting portions 12, and at least one of the lingual connecting portions 12 is adapted to be snap-fit to the lingual side of the teeth 4.
Preferably, all of the mouthpiece units 1 have labial connectors 11, at least one labial connector 11 being adapted to snap-fit with the labial surface of the teeth 4. Because the connecting parts are lip side connecting parts 11, the operation of a patient can be facilitated.
Preferably, the connection portion of at least one mouthpiece unit 1 includes a labial connection portion 11 and a lingual connection portion 12, the labial connection portion 11 and the lingual connection portion 12 are fixedly connected, and at least one of the labial connection portion 11 and/or the lingual connection portion 12 is adapted to be snap-fit connected to the teeth 4. It should be noted that at least one labial connection 11 and/or lingual connection 12 adapted to snap-fit with the teeth 4 is to be understood as: at least one labial connecting part 11 is connected with the teeth 4 in a buckling way; at least one lingual connector 12 is snap-fit to the teeth 4; at least one labial connecting part 11 and one lingual connecting part 12 are suitable for being connected with the teeth 4 in a buckling way, wherein the labial connecting part 11 and the lingual connecting part 12 can be arranged on the same mouthpiece unit 1 or different mouthpiece units 1; the labial connection 11 and the lingual connection 12, which are preferably the same mouthpiece unit 1 in this embodiment, are adapted to be snap-fit to the teeth 4, which may improve the reliability of the mouthpiece unit 1 to be snap-fit to the teeth 4.
Preferably, at least one tooth socket unit 1 is provided with at least one clamping hole 14, a protrusion 2 is adhered to the tooth 4 at a position corresponding to the clamping hole 14, an enlarged head 3 is arranged at one end of the protrusion 2 far away from the tooth 4, the protrusion 2 is suitable for penetrating through the clamping hole 14, and the enlarged head 3 is thicker than the clamping hole 14. Since the enlarged head 3 is thicker than the catching hole 14, the enlarged head 3 can be well caught in the catching hole 14 to fix the mouthpiece unit 1. On the other hand, in the case where an external force is applied to the mouthpiece unit 1, the catching hole 14 may be deformed, thereby allowing the enlarged head 3 to come out of the catching hole 14.
It should be noted that the at least one snap hole 14 is designed to assist in twisting, moving, etc. of the tooth 4. For example, when the teeth 4 need to move a larger distance, the fastening holes 14 are designed at a position far away from the next target correction position, and when the snap-fit protrusions 2 and the enlarged heads 3 are used, the teeth 4 will receive a larger correction force to drive the teeth 4 to move toward the target position. For example, when the teeth 4 need to control the torque, two or more fastening holes 14 may be provided, and when the two or more fastening holes 14 are matched with the corresponding protrusions 2 and the enlarged heads 3 on the teeth 4, a force for twisting the teeth 4 to the target position may be formed, so as to achieve the purpose of correction.
Preferably, at least one fixing cavity 15 is formed on at least one mouthpiece unit 1, a protrusion 2 is adhered to a position corresponding to the fixing cavity 15 on the tooth 4, an enlarged head 3 is arranged at one end of the protrusion 2 far away from the tooth 4, and the fixing cavity 15 is suitable for being sleeved on the protrusion 2 and the enlarged head 3. This is another embodiment of the snap connection in this embodiment.
Preferably, the mouthpiece unit 1 is made of a transparent material. The mouthpiece unit 1 of transparent material can make the maxillofacial removable appliance of the present invention more beautiful to wear.
The above description is only an embodiment of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and all modifications of equivalent structures and equivalent processes, which are made by using the contents of the present specification and the accompanying drawings, or directly or indirectly applied to other related technical fields, are included in the scope of the present invention.
