Abstract
The invention provides a method and a wireless controller for providing wireless access service for a wireless terminal, wherein the method comprises the following steps: sending a blind-complement instruction to a first wireless Access Point (AP) so that the first AP can scan neighbor APs and generate a neighbor AP list according to the blind-complement instruction; receiving a neighbor AP list fed back by the first AP; receiving the first AP offline notification; selecting a second AP from the neighbor AP list according to a preset strategy; and sending an instruction of enhancing the signal transmission power to the second AP so that the second AP can adjust the first transmission signal power to the second transmission signal power according to the instruction of enhancing the signal transmission power to cover the area covered by the signal when the first AP is on line. Under the condition that the daily stable operation of the AP is not affected, the wireless network access service can be continuously provided for the wireless terminal in the area after the AP fails.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of data communications, and in particular, to a method and a wireless controller for providing wireless access service for a wireless terminal.
Background
With the popularity of WLAN (Wireless LAN) devices, wireless AP (Wireless Access Point ) devices are deployed in various places in cities today, and signal overlapping between different APs may cause interference. The wireless network is optimized during the general deployment, so that the wireless signals are ensured not to overlap. When a certain AP fails and can not provide wireless network access service, a signal blind area appears, and wireless terminals in the area can not continue to access and communicate through the wireless network. In the warehouse scene, the code scanning gun and the intelligent robot are increasingly widely applied, and the code scanning gun and the intelligent robot gradually form the characteristic of continuous work for 24 hours. In this case, high reliability of the wireless signal is particularly important. Therefore, there is a need for a method that can still provide wireless signal blindness when an AP fails down.
At present, the AP adopts a fixed power-expanding method to perform wireless signal blind-mate, which can cause interference caused by overlapping signal coverage among the APs, but can cause poor wireless network experience in a daily state.

and step eleven, the AC blind supplementing module calculates the signal intensity RSSI of the AP radio frequency in the scanning result, takes the RSSI sequence as the distance sequence of the AP, and simultaneously selects the AP with the same SSID configuration as the neighbor of the AP for storage.
Stage 2: blind supplement adjustment
The specific procedure of blind supplement adjustment is as follows:

and sending an instruction of enhancing the signal transmission power to the second AP, so that the second AP adjusts the first transmission signal power to a second transmission signal power according to the instruction of enhancing the signal transmission power to cover the area covered by the signal when the first AP is on line, wherein the second transmission signal power is larger than the first transmission signal power.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:
receiving an online notification of the first AP;
and sending an instruction for recovering the signal transmission power to the second AP so as to facilitate the second AP to recover the second transmission signal power to the first transmission signal power.
