The expansion card generally comprises a PCB, a heat dissipation module, an IO fixed bracket and a shell. The IO terminal (generally referred to as front terminal) of the expansion card may be fixed on the electronic device through an IO fixing bracket. However, in practical application or during testing, the expansion card may be affected by vibration, drop impact, and the like, and if only the IO terminal is fixed, the expansion card may be damaged. Aiming at the problem, the invention provides a split type expansion card fixing device which comprises a PCB fixing piece and a fixing seat, wherein the PCB fixing piece can fix a PCB of an expansion card, and the fixing seat can fix the split type expansion card fixing device on electronic equipment. Therefore, the split type expansion card fixing device provides another mode for fixing the expansion card, and in the practical application or test process, a user can fix the IO end of the expansion card on the electronic equipment by using the IO fixing support of the expansion card and fix the PCB of the expansion card by using the split type expansion card fixing device to enhance the fixing strength of the expansion card, so that the split type expansion card fixing device can fully fix the expansion card, and the damage of the expansion card caused by vibration, falling, impact and other factors is reduced or even eliminated.
Referring to fig. 1A to fig. 1E, in an embodiment of the present invention, the detachable expansion card fixing device 1 is used for fixing an expansion card 2. The split type expansion card fixing device 1 comprises a PCB board fixing piece 11 and a fixing seat 12. The fixing seat 12 can be made of materials such as aluminum, zinc and metal plates through processes such as pouring, die casting, stamping or bending, and the PCB fixing part 11 can be made of rubber or plastic through injection molding. Specifically, the PCB board fixing member 11 is used for fixing the PCB board 21 of the expansion card 2, and the fixing manner includes, but is not limited to, detachable manners such as clamping, and screwing.
Preferably, the PCB board fixing part 11 is configured to fix a tail portion of the PCB board 21 of the expansion card 2, so as to fix the tail end of the expansion card 2 by the split expansion card fixing device 1. It should be noted that, fixing the tail end of the expansion card 2 by using the split type expansion card fixing device 1 is only a preferred scheme, and in a specific application, other parts of the expansion card 2 may also be fixed by using the split type expansion card fixing device 1 according to actual requirements, where the other parts include, but are not limited to, one side or two sides of the expansion card 2.
The fixing seat 12 is detachably connected with the PCB fixing member 11, and is used for fixing the PCB fixing member 11; the detachable connection mode includes but is not limited to a threaded connection, a clamping connection and the like. In a specific application, the fixing base 12 is used for firmly fixing the split type expansion card fixing device 1 to the electronic device, so as to enhance the fixing strength of the expansion card 2, thereby reducing or even eliminating the damage of factors such as vibration, dropping, impact and the like to the expansion card 2.
As can be seen from the above description, unlike the prior art, the split-type expansion card fixing device 1 of the present embodiment can provide another way to fix the expansion card 2, in an actual application or a test process, a user can fix the IO end of the expansion card 2 on the electronic device by using the IO fixing bracket 22 of the expansion card 2, and fix the PCB board 21 of the expansion card 2 by using the split-type expansion card fixing device 1 to enhance the fixing strength of the expansion card 2, so that the split-type expansion card fixing device 1 can fully fix the expansion card 2, thereby reducing or even eliminating the damage that the expansion card may be damaged.
Referring to fig. 2, in an embodiment of the present invention, the PCB fixing member 11 has a PCB slot for fixing the PCB 21 of the expansion card 2 in a clamping manner.
Preferably, the PCB card slot is defined by 3 sides 1111 and 1 bottom 1112. At this time, the number of the PCB card slots is preferably twice as many as the number of the PCB boards 21 that need to be fixed. For example, if 2 PCB boards 21 need to be fixed, the number of the PCB card slots is 4. In specific application, a user can respectively clamp the two board corners at the tail of the PCB board 21 into the PCB clamping grooves, and at this time, the PCB clamping grooves can fix the PCB board 21 in a clamping manner; the side surfaces 1111 and the bottom surface 1112 can prevent the PCB board 21 from being displaced when vibration or impact is applied, and thus can better increase the fixing strength of the expansion card 2 so as to better protect the expansion card 2.
Further preferably, the PCB card slot is a right-angle card slot, and at this time, any two adjacent faces of the 3 side faces 1111 and the 1 bottom face 1112 are perpendicular to each other. At present, the board angle of PCB board on the market is mostly the right angle, will the PCB draw-in groove configuration is into the right angle draw-in groove can make the board angle of PCB board with the side and the bottom surface of PCB draw-in groove closely laminate to increase the joint intensity between the two.
In this embodiment, the PCB fixing member 11 has a PCB card slot, which can realize the quick connection between the PCB fixing member 11 and the expansion card 2, and meanwhile, can ensure that the connection strength between the PCB fixing member and the expansion card is strong.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the PCB fixing member 11 is connected to the fixing base 12 in a clamping manner. Specifically, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, the PCB fixing member 11 has a clamping portion 112, the fixing base 12 has 1 or more clamping interfaces 121, and the size of the clamping interface 121 matches with the size of the clamping portion 112. In specific application, the clamping portion 112 of the PCB fixing member 11 is clamped into the corresponding clamping interface 121, so that the PCB fixing member 11 and the fixing base 12 are clamped.
In this embodiment, the PCB fixing member 11 is connected to the fixing base 12 in a clamping manner, so that the PCB fixing member 11 can be stably connected to the fixing base 12; meanwhile, when the size of the PCB fixing member 11 is not matched with the expansion card 2, or the PCB fixing member 11 is damaged, the present embodiment can realize the quick replacement of the PCB fixing member 11.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the PCB fixing member 11 has a supporting portion 113. When the PCB fixing member 11 is detachably disposed on the fixing base 12, the supporting portion 113 abuts against the fixing base 12 to enhance the connection strength between the PCB fixing member 11 and the fixing base 12. Preferably, the supporting portion 113 is a right triangle, and one right-angle side of the right triangle abuts against the fixing seat 12.
In a specific application, different expansion cards 2 may have different sizes, and in order to ensure that the split expansion card fixing device 1 is applicable to all expansion cards 2 as much as possible, so as to enhance the compatibility of the split expansion card fixing device 1, in an embodiment of the present invention, the fixing base 12 has a bottom plate 122; the bottom plate 122 is provided with a guide groove 123. The guide groove 123 is, for example, in the shape of an elongated hole. Preferably, the number of the guide grooves 123 is 3.
In a specific application, referring to fig. 4A, at least one positioning screw hole 31 is disposed at a specific position of the electronic device 3, and when the expansion card 2 fixes the IO end of the expansion card to the electronic device 3 through the IO fixing bracket 22, one or more of the positioning screw holes 31 are exposed in the guide groove 123 at a corresponding position. At this time, the PCB board 21 of the expansion card 2 is fixed by the PCB fixing member 11, and a screw connector such as a screw or a stud is screwed into the positioning screw hole 31 through the guide groove 123, so that the split type expansion card fixing device 1 is fixed, and the expansion card 2 is stably fixed on the electronic device 3.
In this embodiment, the bottom plate 122 is provided with the guide groove 123, so that the split type expansion card fixing device 1 can be applied to expansion cards 2 with different sizes, and the split type expansion card fixing device 1 has better compatibility. For example, when the length of the expansion card 2 is long, the user can push the split expansion card fixing device 1 to the left, as shown in fig. 4B, and the positioning screw hole 31 is exposed on the side of the guide groove 123 close to the expansion card 2; when the length of the expansion card 2 is short, the user can push the split expansion card fixing device 1 to the right, as shown in fig. 4C, and the positioning screw hole 31 is exposed on the side of the guide groove 123 far away from the expansion card 2.
In addition to the IO interface at the front end, some expansion cards are also configured with interfaces such as power supply, IO and the like at the side and/or back end, and in this case, the expansion card needs to be connected with other devices at the side and/or back end. However, when the expansion card fixing device is used to fix the side edge and/or the rear end of the expansion card, the expansion card fixing device may block the interface at the side edge and/or the rear end of the expansion card, so that the blocked interface cannot be used normally. To solve the technical problem and improve the versatility of the expansion card fixing device, in an embodiment of the invention, the fixing base 12 has a side wall 124, the side wall 124 is in a concave shape, and the PCB board fixing member 11 is detachably disposed on the side wall 124.
In this embodiment, the side wall 124 is in a concave shape, and in a specific application, if there are interfaces such as a power supply and an IO at a connection position between the expansion card 2 and the split expansion card fixing device 1, the interfaces may be connected to other devices through a concave portion in the middle of the side wall 124. Therefore, no matter where the interface of the expansion card is configured, the split expansion card fixing device 1 of the present embodiment does not block the interface of the expansion card, and therefore, the split expansion card fixing device 1 of the present embodiment can be applied to expansion cards with various interface positions, and has good versatility.
In addition, the side wall 124 is in a shape of a Chinese character 'ao', so that the expansion card 2 can utilize the recessed portion in the middle of the side wall 124 to perform routing and ventilation, which is beneficial to enhancing the flexibility of routing and the heat dissipation performance of the electronic device 3. In an embodiment of the invention, the fixing base 12 further has a supporting wall 125, and two edges of the supporting wall 125 respectively abut against the side wall 124 and the bottom plate 122, so as to enhance the strength of the fixing base 12. Preferably, the support wall 124 is triangular.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the split-type expansion card fixing device 1 includes a PCB board fixing member 11 and a fixing base 12. The PCB fixing member 11 is used for fixing the PCB board 21 at the tail end of the expansion card 2.
The PCB fixing member 11 has a PCB slot for clamping the corner of the PCB 21. The number of the PCB fixing pieces is preferably twice of the number of the PCBs 21 needing to be fixed, and at the moment, two board corners at the tail of each PCB 21 needing to be fixed are clamped in the corresponding PCB clamping grooves.
PCB board mounting 11 still has a joint portion 112, fixing base 12 is provided with joint interface 121, just the quantity of joint interface 121 is no less than the quantity of PCB board mounting 11. In specific application, the clamping portion 112 of the PCB fixing member 11 is clamped with the corresponding clamping interface 121 on the fixing base 12, so as to realize the clamping of the PCB fixing member 11 and the fixing base 12.
The PCB fixing member 11 further has a supporting portion 113, and the supporting portion 113 is used for abutting against the fixing seat 12 so as to enhance the fixing strength of the split type expansion card fixing device 1 to the expansion card 2.
The holder 12 has a bottom plate 122, a side wall 124 and a supporting wall 125. Wherein, at least one guide groove 123 is arranged on the bottom plate 122; the side wall 124 is in a shape of a Chinese character 'ao', and the card interface 121 is disposed on the side wall 124.
Based on the above description of the split expansion card fixing device, the invention also provides an electronic device. The electronic device has an accommodating space, and the electronic device includes a split expansion card fixing device 1 shown in any one of fig. 1A to 1E. The electronic device may be, for example, an entire device such as a server or a computer, or a component device such as a chassis of a server or a desktop computer, or a housing of a notebook computer.
In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic device further includes a connector and an expansion card. The expansion card is arranged in the accommodating space, the front end of the expansion card is fixed to the connector, and the PCB of the expansion card is fixed to the split type expansion card fixing device. The connector is, for example, a gold finger.
In an embodiment of the invention, the fixing seat of the split-type expansion card fixing device has a bottom plate, and the bottom plate is provided with at least one guide groove. The bottom surface of the accommodating space is provided with at least one screw hole group, each screw hole group comprises a plurality of positioning screw holes, and the number of the positioning screw holes in each screw hole group is the same as that of the guide grooves. Each screw hole group is respectively arranged at different positions, and each positioning screw hole group is used for being matched with a screw or a stud and other threaded connecting pieces to fix the split type expansion card fixing device at the corresponding position.
It should be noted that the threaded connector may be included in the electronic device of the present embodiment, and manufactured, sold and/or used together with the electronic device of the present embodiment; alternatively, the threaded connector may be a separate product other than the electronic device described in this embodiment, and may be manufactured and/or sold separately from the electronic device described in this embodiment.
Specifically, referring to fig. 5A, the bottom surface of the accommodating space in the electronic device 5 is provided with three screw hole groups 511, 512, and 513, wherein a distance between the screw hole group 511 and the connector 53 is L, and a distance between the screw hole group 511 and the connector 53 may be a distance between any positioning screw hole in the screw hole group 511 and the connector 53, for example, may be a distance between the positioning screw hole 5111 and the connector 53; the distance between the screw hole group 512 and the connector 53 is 3L/4, and the distance between the screw hole group 513 and the connector 53 is L/2; wherein, L is the standard size of the expansion card in the corresponding standard.
Further, the screw hole set 511 is matched with the screw connector, so that the split-type expansion card fixing device can be fixed near the screw hole set 511 (i.e. at a position corresponding to the screw hole set 511). In specific application, 3 threaded connectors are respectively screwed into corresponding positioning threaded holes in the threaded group 511 after penetrating through corresponding guide grooves on the split type expansion card fixing device, so that the split type expansion card fixing device can be fixed near the threaded group 511. Similarly, the screw hole group 512 is matched with the threaded connector, so that the split-type expansion card fixing device can be fixed at a position near the screw hole group 512 (i.e. a position corresponding to the screw hole group 512); the screw hole set 513 is matched with the screw connector, so that the split type expansion card fixing device can be fixed at a position near the screw hole set 513 (i.e. a position corresponding to the screw hole set 513).
Next, a fixing manner of the expansion card will be described by a specific example. In this example, the length of the expansion card is L/2 or approximately L/2, and the process of fixing the expansion card comprises the following steps:
step 11, fixing the IO end of the expansion card to the connector 53.
And step 12, adjusting the position of the split expansion card fixing device so that each positioning screw hole in the screw hole group 513 is exposed in a corresponding guide groove on the split expansion card fixing device.
And step 13, respectively penetrating the corresponding guide grooves on the split type expansion card fixing device by using 3 threaded connecting pieces, and partially screwing the threaded connecting pieces into corresponding positioning screw holes in the screw hole group 513 to realize the positioning of the split type expansion card fixing device, wherein the split type expansion card fixing device can move within a limited range under the limit of the threaded connecting pieces and the guide grooves.
And step 14, moving the split type expansion card fixing device, and fixing the tail PCB of the expansion card to the split type expansion card fixing device. For example, when the split type expansion card fixing device has a PCB board slot, a board corner of the tail PCB board of the expansion card is clamped into the PCB board slot, and the split type expansion card fixing device is pushed to enable the PCB board slot to clamp the tail PCB board of the expansion card.
And step 15, rotating and locking each threaded connecting piece so as to firmly fix the split type expansion card fixing device on the bottom plate of the accommodating space.
Through the above steps 11-15, the expansion card is firmly fixed in the electronic device 5 by the split expansion card fixing device and the connector 53. It should be noted that the sequence of the step 11 to the step 15 is not fixed, and in practical applications, the sequence of any two or more steps of the step 11 to the step 15 may also be adjusted according to specific situations.
Preferably, the split expansion card fixing device comprises three screw hole sets, and each screw hole set is respectively arranged near the position away from the connectors L, L/2 and L/4.
Considering that there may be differences in the heights of different expansion cards, after the expansion card is fixed by the connector and the split expansion card fixing device, the bottom surface of the accommodating space may not support the expansion card, that is: the expansion card is suspended on the bottom surface of the accommodating space, and at the moment, the expansion card can still be damaged due to the influence of factors such as vibration, falling, impact and the like. In an embodiment of the invention, the fixing base of the split-type expansion card fixing device has a bottom plate, and the bottom plate is provided with at least one guide groove. The bottom surface of the accommodating space is provided with at least one screw hole group, each screw hole group comprises a plurality of positioning screw holes, and the number of the positioning screw holes in each screw hole group is the same as that of the guide grooves. The positioning screw hole groups are respectively arranged at different positions, and are used for being matched with a supporting stud to support the split type expansion card fixing device, and the supporting stud is matched with the threaded connecting piece to fix the split type expansion card fixing device.
It should be noted that the support stud may be included in the electronic device of the present embodiment, and manufactured, sold and/or used together with the electronic device of the present embodiment; alternatively, the support stud may be a separate product other than the electronic device of this embodiment, and may be manufactured and/or sold separately from the electronic device of this embodiment.
Please refer to fig. 5B and 5C, which are schematic structural views of a support stud 61. Specifically, the support stud 61 has an external thread 611, the external thread 611 matching an internal thread in the positioning screw hole; and the support stud 61 has an internal thread 612, said internal thread 612 matching the external thread of said threaded connection. The diameter of the nut in the support stud 61 is greater than the width of the guide slot in the split expansion card fixing device, and the diameter of the internal thread 612 in the support stud 61 is less than the width of the guide slot in the split expansion card fixing device.
The number of the support studs may be the same as the number of the positioning screw holes in any screw hole group, for example, referring to fig. 5D, the screw hole group in the electronic device includes 3 positioning screw holes, accordingly, the split-type expansion card fixing device is supported by using 3 support studs 61, 62, and 63 to cooperate with 3 positioning screw holes in any screw hole group, and the split-type expansion card fixing device is fixed by using the 3 support studs 61, 62, and 63 to cooperate with 3 threaded connectors.
Next, a fixing manner of the expansion card will be described by a specific example. Referring to fig. 5E and 5F, in this example, if the length of the expansion card 54 is L or approximately L, the process of fixing the expansion card includes the following steps:
step 21, fixing the IO end of the expansion card 54 to the connector 53, and partially or completely screwing the support studs 61, 62 and 63 into the corresponding positioning screw holes in the screw hole group 511, so that the support studs 61, 62 and 63 are exposed out of the bottom plate of the accommodating space, and are equal to or approximately equal to the distance between the expansion card 54 and the bottom plate of the accommodating space, and since the diameters of the nuts in the support studs 61, 62 and 63 are greater than the width of the guide grooves on the split expansion card fixing device 52, the support studs 61, 62 and 63 can provide good support for the split expansion card fixing device 52, and provide good support for the expansion card 54 through the split expansion card fixing device 52.
Step 22, adjusting the position of the expansion card fixing device 52 to enable the internal threads in the support studs 61, 62 and 63 to be completely exposed to the corresponding guide grooves on the split expansion card fixing device 52.
Step 23, the split-type expansion card fixing device 52 is positioned by passing the 3 threaded connectors through the corresponding guide slots on the split-type expansion card fixing device 52 and partially screwing the 3 threaded connectors into the internal threads of the corresponding support studs, and at this time, the split-type expansion card fixing device 52 can move left and right within a limited range under the limit of the threaded connectors and the guide slots.
Step 24, the split expansion card fixing device 52 is moved, and the tail PCB of the expansion card 54 is fixed to the split expansion card fixing device 52. For example, when the split type expansion card fixing device 52 has a PCB card slot, a board corner of the tail PCB of the expansion card 54 is clipped into the PCB card slot, and the split type expansion card fixing device 52 is pushed rightward to clip the tail PCB of the expansion card 54.
And step 25, rotating and locking each threaded connector to firmly fix the split-type expansion card fixing device 52 on the bottom plate of the accommodating space.
Through the above steps 21 to 25, the expansion card 54 is firmly fixed in the electronic device 5 by the split expansion card fixing device 52 and the connector 53, and the bottom plate of the accommodating space can provide good support for the split expansion card fixing device 52 and the expansion card 54 through the support studs 61, 62 and 63. It should be noted that the sequence of the step 21 to the step 25 is not fixed, and in practical applications, the sequence of any two or more steps in the step 21 to the step 25 may also be adjusted according to specific situations.
In this embodiment, the support stud has an external thread matched with the positioning screw hole, and the height of the support stud exposed out of the bottom plate of the accommodating space can be adjusted according to actual requirements in specific applications, so that the bottom plate of the accommodating space can provide support for the split type expansion card fixing device and the expansion card through the support stud regardless of the height of the expansion card in the electronic device, and the expansion card can be further protected from factors such as vibration, falling, impact and the like.
As can be seen from the above description, the electronic device of this embodiment has an accommodating space, a bottom plate of the accommodating space may be provided with a plurality of screw hole sets according to actual requirements, and each screw hole set is matched with a threaded connector to fix the split-type expansion card fixing device at a corresponding position. Therefore, for various expansion cards with large size difference, the split type expansion card fixing device in the electronic device of this embodiment can fix the various expansion cards with large size difference by reasonably setting the positions of the screw hole groups. For example, for an expansion card with the size L, the expansion card can be fixed by matching a threaded connecting piece with a screw hole group of the distance connector L; for an expansion card with the size of L/2, the expansion card can be fixed by matching a threaded connecting piece with a screw hole group L/2 away from the connector.
In addition, the split type expansion card fixing device in this embodiment is provided with a guide groove on a bottom plate thereof, and through the cooperation of the threaded connecting piece and the guide groove, the split type expansion card fixing device can be finely adjusted near each screw hole group. Therefore, for various expansion cards with small size difference, the split type expansion card fixing device in the electronic device of the present embodiment can fix the various expansion cards with small size difference by fine-tuning the position of the split type expansion card fixing device. For example, for an expansion card with the size of 1.05L, the split type expansion card fixing device is positioned to the position of a screw hole group away from the connector L by utilizing a threaded connector to penetrate through a guide groove, the split type expansion card fixing device is pushed leftwards, and then the tail PCB of the expansion card is fixed to the split type expansion card fixing device, so that the expansion card can be fixed; for an expansion card with the size of 0.95L, the split type expansion card fixing device is positioned to the position of a screw hole group which is far away from the connector L by utilizing a threaded connecting piece to penetrate through the guide groove, the split type expansion card fixing device is pushed rightwards, and then the tail PCB of the expansion card is fixed to the split type expansion card fixing device, so that the expansion card can be fixed.
And the screw hole group can be matched with a support stud to support the split type expansion card fixing device, and the support stud is matched with the threaded connecting piece to fix the split type expansion card fixing device. By adjusting the height of the support studs exposed out of the bottom plate of the accommodating space, the bottom plate of the accommodating space can support expansion cards with different heights. Therefore, the electronic equipment can fix and support the expansion cards with various lengths and heights, and has good universality.
The split type expansion card fixing device comprises a PCB fixing piece and a fixing seat, wherein the PCB fixing piece can fix a PCB of an expansion card, and the fixing seat can fix the split type expansion card fixing device on electronic equipment. Therefore, the split type expansion card fixing device provides another mode for fixing the expansion card, and in the practical application or test process, a user can fix the IO end of the expansion card on the electronic equipment by using the IO fixing support of the expansion card and fix the PCB of the expansion card by using the split type expansion card fixing device to enhance the fixing strength of the expansion card, so that the split type expansion card fixing device can fully fix the expansion card, and the damage of the expansion card caused by vibration, falling, impact and other factors is reduced or even eliminated.
In addition, in the split type expansion card fixing device of the invention, the PCB board fixing piece is connected with the fixing seat in a clamping manner, so that the stable connection between the PCB board fixing piece and the fixing seat can be realized; meanwhile, when the size of the PCB fixing piece is not matched with the expansion card or the PCB fixing piece is damaged, the split type expansion card fixing device can realize the quick replacement of the PCB fixing piece.
In addition, the side wall of the split type expansion card fixing device can be arranged in a concave shape, so that the split type expansion card fixing device can fix the expansion card without blocking the routing and the external connection of the expansion card, and the concave shape design is favorable for improving the heat radiation performance of the electronic equipment.
