Description

Disc type brake disc
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of automobile brake systems, in particular to a disc brake disc.
Background
The brake disc, i.e. the brake disc, is a metal disc, usually made of cast iron, fixed to the wheel and rotating with the wheel. When a vehicle steps on a brake in the running process, the brake calipers clamp the brake disc to generate brake torque, so that the effect of speed reduction or parking is achieved.
The process of automobile braking is actually the process of converting kinetic energy and potential energy of automobile motion into heat energy, wherein most of the generated heat is absorbed by a brake disc. A portion of the heat absorbed by the brake disc is transferred to the atmosphere by thermal radiation, and another portion is transferred to other parts of the chassis, resulting in an increase in the temperature of other parts of the chassis (e.g., fender, rim, hub bearing, knuckle, etc.). The energy transferred by the brake disc to other parts of the chassis will raise the temperature of the parts, which will have some effect on the performance of the parts. For example, the temperature rise of the hub bearing causes the bearing grease to be thinned or melted, the lubrication effect is reduced, the early fatigue damage and abnormal sound of the bearing are caused, and meanwhile, the temperature rise of the bearing accelerates the aging of the sealing rubber of the bearing, so that the sealing effect is influenced.
The brake disc temperature is too high, not only can reduce the life and the braking effect of brake disc, leads to the brake disc warpage, produces the brake friction noise, still leads to the life of other spare parts of chassis to descend easily.
Therefore, how to improve the heat dissipation capability of the brake disc and reduce the heat transferred from the brake disc to parts such as the hub bearing and the like becomes a technical problem to be solved urgently in the field.
