Description

Device for fixing auxiliary material in container
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for fixing auxiliary materials (auxiliary materials) in a container.
Background
The transport of goods from the agricultural and food sector requires, on the one hand, the adherence to strict regulations and, on the other hand, the necessity to ensure specific climatic conditions during transport in order to avoid a reduction in the quality of the goods. Especially when transporting goods in the form of bulk material, such as cocoa, coffee or soy over relatively long distances, it has to be ensured that the low humidity requirements are met in order to avoid a loss of product quality.
Depending on the duration of the transport and the climatic conditions, it must be possible in particular to avoid the formation of water condensation in the container, thus preventing the growth of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. At the same time, however, strict regulations for the safety of products used in food and feed production must be observed.
In the prior art, various products are known which ensure low humidity by adsorbing the water contained in the air. Usually, they are applied directly to the walls of the container. However, in containers with bulk material from the agricultural sector, these products are still unusable, since direct contact with the goods must absolutely be avoided. Furthermore, there is a risk that damage to the auxiliary material and mixing with the bulk material may occur during transport.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is therefore to develop a device which allows the introduction of various auxiliary materials into a container without the goods to be transported coming into direct contact with the auxiliary materials.
This object is achieved by the device according to the invention for fixing auxiliary materials in a container.
The invention provides a device (1) for fixing an auxiliary material in a container, comprising at least three fastening means (3) and at least one pouch (4) for receiving the auxiliary material.

In another embodiment, the device (1) according to the invention is characterized in that it is constituted by a fabric chosen from cotton fabric, non-woven fabric or fabric made from recycled fibers.
The device according to the invention is furthermore advantageous in that it can be applied simply and quickly to all conventional containers and it is possible to flexibly select the auxiliary material to be applied and the corresponding amount. With the device according to the invention, the containers can be individually equipped with auxiliary materials and it is thus possible to adapt to specific climatic conditions, the nature and duration of the transport and the goods to be transported. In addition to or instead of the auxiliary materials with hygroscopic action, other auxiliary materials are also possible which can be combined with ethylene or oxygen, for example for the transport of fresh agricultural products such as apples, pineapples or berries.
A further advantage of the device according to the invention is that it is reusable and can be made of a sustainable material.
The device according to the invention may be made of any material that has some flexibility but also tear resistance. Preferably, the device according to the invention is made of a substance permeable to water vapor (for example cotton or conventional non-woven fabric), even recycled fibers, since they are lightweight and at the same time very resistant to tearing. Combinations of different materials are also possible. Particularly suitable nonwoven fabrics are nonwoven fabrics made of polyethylene, in particular of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which are built up from ultrafine fibrillated filaments which are tightly connected to one another to form a network. Also very suitable are the so-called geotextiles (geotex), i.e. fabrics, nonwovens or composites made of natural fibres (e.g. reed, jute and coconut) or man-made fibres (e.g. polypropylene, polyamide, polyester and polyethylene).
The device according to the invention preferably has a rectangular shape, although it can also be made round or oval, or have a triangular shape. If the device is intended for fixing auxiliary materials in a container, the device preferably has an oblong shape, preferably with a length in the range of 4 to 8m, preferably 5 to 6.5m, and a width in the range of 1 to 4m, preferably 2 to 3 m. Also preferred are dimensions corresponding to a 20ft ISO container measuring 2.35m x 5.90 m.
The device is preferably rectangular in shape and is equipped on at least two sides with fastening means allowing fastening on the container wall and/or the container roof. Preferably, the fastening means are applied to at least three sides of the oblong shaped device. These fastening means may be e.g. tie wraps, cables or straps, which may be fastened to hooks or lugs (lug) on the container wall or roof. These fastening means may be made of natural or synthetic material, such as a belt made of polyester fabric. In a further possible embodiment, the fastening means are equipped with hooks, straps, lugs, loops and/or buckles, which allow a quick fastening and tightening of the device.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the device according to the invention is rectangular in shape and is provided with fastening means in the form of tie wraps, cables or straps (each provided with a buckle) on its longitudinal side, while the third side (which is preferably located on the side of the container to be opened) is provided with a strap.
Furthermore, the device comprises at least one pouch which is applied on the outside of the device and is intended to receive an auxiliary material. In a preferred embodiment, and where the device is rectangular in shape, the pouch is applied along the width side of the device. However, it is also possible to apply along the longitudinal sides.
The pouch preferably also has a rectangular shape and is firmly attached to the device on three sides, the fourth side being made open to allow introduction of the accessory material, but preferably has a closing mechanism. The closure mechanism may be in the form of a continuous hook and loop fastener on the inside of the pouch, for example. However, it is also possible to apply the closure mechanism on the outside of the pouch and/or it is not continuously extending.
The device is preferably made of the same material, although it is also possible to manufacture the components of the device (e.g. the pouch) from different materials, and for this purpose use is made of a special material optimized for the type of auxiliary material to be received.
In a preferred embodiment, the device has 2 to 25 sachets, more preferably 5 to 20 sachets, and particularly preferably 10 to 18 sachets, the length of which is 95% of the length of the width side of the device, the length of the sachets being particularly preferably 50 to 90% of the width side of the device. The width of the pouch is preferably adapted to the size of the auxiliary material to be introduced and is preferably selected from the range of 8 to 25cm, more preferably 10 to 15 cm.
