Ein solches Rohrsystem wird aus polierten Aluminiumrohren gefertigt und ist in der Anschaffung teuer und durch die hohen Widerstände durch die Verästelungen energieaufwändig. Bei Vliesbildemaschinen mit aerodynamischer Vliesbildung wird Umgebungsluft entlang der letzten Walze gesaugt, die die Fasern mitnimmt und auf einer Siebtrommel oder einem luftdurchlässigen Band ablegt.
