Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a seat surface, a backrest and Isofix areas which are arranged in a transition area between the seat surface and the backrest, wherein each Isofix area is assigned a guide sleeve with an insertion opening for inserting an engagement element of a child seat fastening, and with at least one concealing element with which the Isofix areas, in particular the insertion openings of the guide sleeve, can be covered, wherein the at least one concealing element is firmly connected to the vehicle seat and/or the guide sleeve and is movable relative to the guide sleeve between a covering position and a release position of the insertion opening.

Various concepts are known from the state of the art with regard to the covering of Isofix areas. For example, reference is made to the DE 10 2018 203 311 A1 , DE 10 2015 005374 A1 , DE 10 2021 208 805 B3 , DE 10 2012 023 773 A1 , CN 216 684 173 U and US 2017 0 355 283 A1 .

Current vehicle seats are known to provide partial or full covers for Isofix areas. Covers in the form of cover caps, cover frames or a type of seat cover roller blind are used between the backrest and the seat. There are also separate upholstery parts that serve to cover the Isofix areas. The solutions known to date are rather complex with a high number of individual parts or are not suitable for comfortable backrest adjustments on individual seats. In addition, current covers often have a low quality design. The problem with separate covers or upholstery parts is that they have to be removed when attaching a child seat and stored or housed somewhere else.

The object underlying the invention is to provide a vehicle seat with Isofix areas that can be covered or exposed in a simple manner by at least one concealing element.

This object is achieved by a vehicle seat and a motor vehicle with the features of the respective independent patent claim. Advantageous embodiments with expedient further developments are specified in the dependent patent claims.

A vehicle seat is therefore proposed with a seat surface, a backrest and Isofix areas that are arranged in a transition area between the seat surface and the backrest, with each Isofix area being assigned a guide sleeve with an insertion opening for inserting an engagement element of a child seat attachment, and with at least one covering element with which the Isofix areas, in particular the insertion openings of the guide sleeve, can be covered, with the at least one covering element being firmly connected to the vehicle seat and/or the guide sleeve and being movable relative to the guide sleeve between a covering position and a release position of the insertion opening. It is provided that the at least one covering element has at least two flat covering sections that are connected to one another along a folding edge in such a way that the covering sections are folded towards one another in the release position. As a result, the covering element, in particular its covering sections, can be designed to be somewhat more rigid or stable, with the mobility being provided by the folding edge.

In particular, the folded edge may have a slightly smaller thickness than the laminated sections it connects.

In the case of the vehicle seat, the concealing element can have at least one fastening means which is designed to hold the concealing element in the covering position. This ensures that a relevant Isofix area can be reliably concealed, so that a visually appealing design is possible during normal use of the vehicle seat without a child seat device.

In the case of the vehicle seat, the fastening means can have a magnetic section that can be or is brought into operative connection with a magnetic counterpart arranged on the vehicle seat and/or the guide sleeve. In the vehicle seat, the covering sections can be designed to be magnetic, in particular in such a way that they adhere magnetically to one another in the release position. As a result, for example, a covering section that extends over the insertion opening can be folded along the folding edge or folded over so that it rests against its adjacent covering section and adheres magnetically.

In the vehicle seat, at least one of the concealing sections can form a cover section and one of the concealing sections can have a fastening section or form this, wherein the covering section covers the insertion opening in the covering position and wherein the fastening section is connected to the vehicle seat and/or the guide sleeve. It is also possible for the insertion opening to be covered by two covering sections, between which a folding edge runs.

In the vehicle seat, the covering element can have three covering sections with two folding edges, such that the covering sections are arranged on top of one another in the release position, in particular in the manner of a Z-fold, or such that the covering sections delimit a substantially triangular hollow space in the release position, in particular in the manner of a wrap-around fold. In the vehicle seat, the covering element can be designed in such a way that both Isofix areas of the vehicle seat can be covered together by a single covering element, wherein the covering element in particular has a width that is greater than the standard distance between the Isofix areas and smaller than a width of the vehicle seat.
